I am in the process of getting a reduction I am waiting for my insurance to go through and to schedule my date of surgery. I am a 40 L and have had large breast since I was 9 years old I am having trouble picturing what I will look like and what size would be fitting to my body type I am a thicker girl not to big but not skinny and I wondered how you chose your size and what where your before/after sizes?
Thank you for sharing your story!

We read so many stories about extremes in cosmetic surgery. I am a big believer in "everything in moderation", and sometimes feel saddened by the fanatic surge in cosmetic surgery when getting something else fixed year after year becomes routine. I do wish those people would work more on their self image from the inside out, as something is definitely amiss in their psyche. That said, I am a great supporter of cosmetic surgery, when done for the right reasons with the right choice of surgeon. I sometimes receive e-mail from my readers and recently received one from a woman with a story similar to Katy's. I found both of their stories heartwarming. The technology is all out there so we no longer need to suffer in silence. If you can get something fixed that continually undermines your self-confidence, I think that is just great. Go for it! But first be sure you are a good candidate for surgery.

Have a beautiful life,
