Marie Osmond may still be best known for being part of the corny song singing Osmond family, but recently she’s developed a look that’s all her own, thanks to some plastic surgery.

Marie Osmond is one of Hollywood’s busiest women. At 50, she has accomplished more than a lifetime’s worth of work, singing and acting since childhood, two divorces, having seven kids, and filling in with writing numerous books, product endorsements and guest appearances, as in one season of Dancing with the Stars. With all that work, you’d think it would take a toll on Marie’s appearance. But because Marie doesn’t show as much as a frownline of fatigue or wrinkle of age, plastic surgery is likely at play with the doll lover’s appearance.

Despite her hectic schedule, Marie seems to have found time between activities to visit a plastic surgeon for multiple procedures. Sometime in her earlier years, Marie may have had a rhinoplasty to help narrow the tip of her nose, or she may have become more skilled at applying flattering make-up.

More recently, to ward off signs of aging, it looks like Marie has undergone a facelift, in addition to a browlift which raised her eyebrows to a high arch. She also likely fills in between major surgeries with dermal fillers and Botox injections.

Dr. Paul S. Nassif, a Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon and Rhinoplasty Specialist in Beverly Hills, Calif., says, “Marie Osmond appears to have had a browlift, as her brows are arched up quite a bit. A facelift is a good possibility as well, and facial fillers and Botox are very likely as there are not many lines present on her face.”

Marie seems to be maintaining her busy lifestyle, starring with Donny in a Vegas revue and appearing with the Osmond family, so Make Me Heal looks forward to seeing what nips and tucks she’ll under go in the future to maintain her fresh appearance.

Katie Price has become just as famous for her plastic surgery as for her alter ego Jordan. Recently, Katie made one of her trips to Los Angeles for some plastic surgery touch ups.

31-year old Katie Price has been in Los Angeles for a round of facial fillers and Botox injections before she headed back home to the UK for her second appearance on the reality show, I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here.

Since revealing that she spends big bucks on her appearance and flies to the States to get beautified, including Botox and hair extensions, Katie has caught more flack for her appearance.

On an appearance on late night show Chelsea Lately, Katie says, “I always fly over here to get my Botox done, I’m mad, I love it. Come to LA and everyone has had it done. I always get my hair extensions done here as well. I fly over every three months to get my hair done and Botox. I’m mad aren’t I? Not that I’m high-maintenance or anything.”

According to the British tabloid The Daily Mail, Katie has spent around $80,000 on cosmetic surgery, including four boob jobs, fillers, collagen and nose job, with another $40,000 on dental work.

Last week at the CMA’s, not only country stars were displaying their plastic surgery, but fans as well. Make Me Heal thinks that no fan showed her support more than Nicole Kidman.

At 42, Nicole Kidman has already shut down years of rumors of plastic surgery, saying her flawless complexion is due to healthy living. But after her somewhat bizarre-looking appearance at the recent Country Music Awards, Nicole should be ready for new waves of plastic surgery rumors, thanks to her pushed up breasts and oversized lips.

While Nicole Kidman has been a notorious Botox user for years, using it to maintain her wrinkle-free, porcelain doll-like visage, it seems she has recently begun using a dermal injectable filler in her lips (See Make Me Heal’s story on Nicole Kidman’s Botox). While accompanying her husband, country star Keith Urban, Nicole’s lips stole the show as they appeared to be much fuller than usual, likely the result of a recent dose of lip filler like Restylane.

Below the neck, Nicole showed off her perfectly porcelain skin, as well as a heathy amount of cleavage. While not overly busty, Nicole’s breasts almost have the stuck on appearance of a breast augmentation gone wrong. Breast implants can develop capsular contracture, which can make them seem too far apart and stuck on. (See Make Me Heal’s story on Nicole Kidman’s Breast Augmentation).

Whether or not she admits it, Nicole Kidman has certainly benefited from plastic surgery, as the Aussie actress can be seen in a string of films, beginning with the musical Nine, due out next month.

In the UK, Cheryl Cole is a household name. And thanks to her great looks and quirky sense of style, she is becoming a name on the other side of the pond as well. But Make Me Heal wonders how much of Cheryl’s new look is due to an interest in fashion and how much is due to plastic surgery?

At 26, Cheryl has already befriended fashionista and plastic surgery lover Victoria Beckham, and seems to be taking more than just a page from her fashionable friend’s book. (See Make Me Heal’s story on Victoria Beckham’s plastic surgery).

Like the former Posh Spice, Cheryl was once part of the girl pop group, Girls Aloud. She is now married to a British soccer player, Ashley Cole, and spends much of her time and money on her appearance to stay camera ready as a judge on the British talent television show, The X Factor.

Cheryl is estimated to spend well over $300,000 on her appearance and some of that money may go to plastic surgery, including a nose job, breast enhancement procedure and injectables like Botox.

Manhattan plastic surgeon Dr Jennifer Walden says, “Based on photos of the star it appears she underwent breast augmentation as well as a possible rhinoplasty.  In addition to the body work, she may keep her face wrinkle-free with injectables such as Botox.  As far as her lips, there may be dermal filler at work there as well.”

On the other hand, Cheryl may be spending much of her money and creams and potions that help her stay youthful as long as possible and tweaking her appearance with superficial changes, like make-up and hairstyle.

Dr. Paul S. Nassif, a facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon and a rhinoplasty specialist in Beverly Hills, California, says, “Cheryl Cole is a naturally beautiful woman. She has undergone a bit of a change over the last few years, but the chance was not due to any surgery to her face.  It looks like a mini-makeover is responsible for any difference in her appearance.  There is the possibility of Botox here and there, but unlikely because she is still very young.”

Cheryl Cole looks great and is sure to become even better known in the States as tabloids continue to chronicle her every outfit change.

It isn’t the first time V has tried to make an impact on primetime television, but it may the most successful. The same can be said for the stars that Make Me Heal recognizes from series past, but still look great thanks to some plastic surgery.

You might know her name, but you surely know her face as Elizabeth Mitchell has been a second lead in many a movie and television show. At 39, Elizabeth is as lovely as ever, but some minor indications of her facial structure indicate that she may not be an entirely natural beauty.

Elizabeth’s straight nose may be her own, but it is more likely the result of a nose job done before she was a popular actress.

Dr. Paul S. Nassif, a Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon and Rhinoplasty Specialist in Beverly Hills, Calif., said, “There is the possibility Elizabeth Mitchell had some work done to her face.  It appears a bit “stretched” when she smiles, and her nose looks a little bit unnaturally straight, indicating she may have had rhinoplasty at some point in her life.  She does not look overdone, and still fits into her features nicely.”

Playing V’s resident good guy alien is the extremely handsome Morris Chestnut. At 40, Morris is as good looking as ever, and doesn’t seem to have gone under the knife for anything even as minor as Botox.

Dr. Nassif says, “Morris Chestnut’s looks are the result of good genes.  He does not appear to have had any surgery or fillers.”

Probably the best-known name on the new incarnation of V is Scott Wolf, from the hit television series Party of 5, which made him a household name.

Despite now being a middle-aged man, at 41, Scott looks remarkably like his younger self, and yet a little different, indicating he may be using facial fillers and Botox to retain his boyish charm.

Dr Nassif says, “Scott Wolf looks very similar to the way he did a number of years ago.  He may have had some Botox, and there is the possibility of fillers for a few lines here and there. Overall his look is natural, and the result of good genetics.”

Canadian import Laura Vandervoot is probably most recognizable to American audiences as Supergirl from the television show Smallville, although she was acting in her native country long before making the trip to Hollywood.

Despite her almost preternaturally good looks, the 25-year old blonde does not seem to have been under the knife for either the nose job or breast augmentation that often come with the transition to Hollywood.

Dr Nassif says, “Laura Vandervoort is still very young, and a naturally beautiful woman. She does not appear to have had any work done, and her looks are the result of good genetics.”

Make Me Heal finds it interesting that the actors playing “visitors” on V haven’t visited a plastic surgeon, while the humans have dabbled with the cosmetic surgeon’s blade in some form.

At 51, Alec is the best known of the Baldwin Brothers family of actors, currently starring on the hit television show 30 Rock. While Alec is usually busy in front of the camera, he recently revealed that to remain camera-ready, he is strongly considering under going some improvements, in the form of plastic surgery.

In a recent interviewing promoting Alec’s upcoming film, It’s Complicated, with Meryl Streep (See Make Me Heal’s story on Meryl Streep’s plastic surgery), Alec revealed that while he think he still looks great, there is definite room for improvement and that he will likely have plastic surgery sooner rather than later.

Alec says, “I have a great ass, if I may say so. That’s a part of my body that needs no surgical enhancement or rearranging.”

“I’m not saying I wouldn’t do something! I intend to do something. I probably will. Let’s put it this way: I wouldn’t rule it out because… You don’t think I wake up every day and wish I looked like this and this and this? But I can’t let that bother me.”

Dr. Paul S. Everybody’s favorite vegetarian actress, Natalie Portman recently admitted that she is open to having plastic surgery when she is older.

The 28-year-old smarty-pants recently posed for W Magazine, revealing more than just her stunning good looks.

When asked about how she will face aging in the future, Natalie acknowledged that women in Hollywood over 40 have trouble. However, she seemed uncertain about how she will fight aging, when she herself begins to show symptoms.

In response to having plastic surgery, the Star Wars alum responded, “I would hope not.”

But she also didn’t have anything negative to say, nor did she entirely rule out future procedures, comparing fixing future wrinkles to getting rid of a pimple. She admits, “If I have a pimple I want to get rid of it.”

It could be that Natalie shows no fear of the surgical blade, because she has already experienced it.

Manhattan plastic surgeon Dr Jennifer Walden says, “Natalie Portman went on record recently and said that she hoped she would never have to go under the knife, but in the same breath would not rule it out either. Ms. Portman always looks youthful and fresh faced. It is possible the actress might have undergone rhinoplasty in the past as the bridge of her nose looks narrowed and extremely straight.”

While there is no telling how one will age, Make Me Heal’s panel of experts ventured some guesses and advice for Natalie.

Down the road she may want to use Botox to smooth out natural lines, but that is about it, as her facial features are very natural and appealing.”

Plastic surgeon Dr. Richard Ellenbogen explains the schedule of plastic surgery for Hollywood, saying, “Smart girl Natalie Portman realizes as she ages she won’t play space princesses anymore, and if she develops sags and bags she’ll be more ready for her close-up with some subtle work.”

“As women age, the schedule goes like this: 25– fillers for the folds and lips, 34–lower eyes and perhaps lipo of the neck, 40–upper eyes and fat grafting , 45–mini lift or facelift and forehead lift, with some more fat grafting. Then there is the body and boobs to keep up and a lot of peels and skin care and fillers along the way.”

Natalie Portman certainly seems to have established herself amongst the Hollywood set, and Make Me Heal looks forward to seeing what she does next and how well she ages, whether or not she ultimately decides to go under the knife.

Each year Make Me Heal looks forward to the Country Music Awards, where country singers and musicians of the past and present strut their plastic surgery down the red carpet, covered in larger than life glitz and glitter.

American Idol star Carrie Underwood, a nominee for Female Vocalist, co-hosted the Country Music Awards with country star Brad Paisley, who was nominated in six categories. Neither country star showed symptoms of plastic surgery, but they could still be in the cards as the stars begin to age in the spotlight. (See Make Me Heal’s story on Carrie Underwood’s plastic surgery).

Always a beauty, Faith Hill looked stunning and much younger than her 42 years in an elegant gray dress on the red carpet. Faith has previously said no to plastic surgery, but she may be filling in with some non-invasive procedures, like Botox injections and lip augmentation.

Manhattan plastic surgeon Dr Jennifer Walden says, “I don’t believe Ms. Hill has ever had any plastic surgery, but it appears that she may keep aging at bay with the help of injectables.  Her forehead looks slightly “frozen”, which may have been the result of Botox.  In addition, her lips have the plump appearance that may come from fillers.”

Dr. Paul S. Nassif, a Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon and Rhinoplasty Specialist in Beverly Hills, Calif., says, “Faith Hill looks great. I do not believe she has had a facelift, but injectables are very likely due to the appearance of her smooth skin showing minimal lines. Overall she looks great, and I would not change a thing.”

Faith and her husband, country favorite, Tim McGraw presented the big winner of the night, Taylor Swift with the much-coveted Entertainer of the Year award. Taylor is the youngest winner at the tender age of 19 and hasn’t been under the knife yet, but who knows what the future holds for the singer, it may even include a nose job (See Make Me Heal’s story on Taylor Swift’s plastic surgery).

While many applauded Taylor’s sweep at the awards show, half of The Judds were less than congratulatory. Wynonna told USA Today, “You want my honest comment? It’s too much too soon. Time is God’s way of keeping everything from happening at once. It’s just too much of a good thing too soon. My thing is, being a home-school mom, I want kids to earn it, and I think some time … ‘cause mom and I rode in a car for the first year of our career to visit radio stations. There was a making of the star, there was a rising up, and the fans went with us. Now it’s over coffee breaks, the success, almost. You have to play catch up … It’s like the girl who wins an Oscar and she’s under 20. What do you do from here?”

Wynonna and her mother Naomi are clearly fans of plastic surgery. Between the two of them, they look to have more than one facelift, breast lifts and augmentations and more. They seem to be following the Dolly Parton Guide to Beauty (See Make Me Heal’s story on Dolly Parton’s plastic surgery).

Dr Walden says, “In addition to their success in the music industry, Wynonna and Naomi also both seem to appear younger as the years pass.  It is rumored that both women have been under the knife for facelifts, browlifts, and eyelid lifts.  In addition to the possible surgical procedures the two have had, they both seem to have had Botox and fillers added to their lips.”

Dr Nassif says, “Wynonna and Naomi Judd have likely had some work done.  It is clear Wynonna has had rhinoplasty at some point in her life, as her bridge is very narrow and her nose has a look where it is a bit too perfect. She appears to have had a facelift as well.  Naomi looks like she has had a browlift, and potentially a facelift along with rhinoplasty as her tip is very narrow and turned up. And injectables are likely in the running for them both.”

Reba McEntire looked great at the awards. Sporting a customized shimmering black gown, the Female Vocalist looked amazing for a 54 year old. Reba likely gets her glow from avoiding the sun and using plastic surgery wisely, having a facelift and injectables over time to keep from looking to plastic.

Dr Walden says, “Country’s funny lady Reba McEntire is no stranger to plastic surgery.  Throughout the years there have been reports of facelifts, as well as a possible breast augmentation.  It appears that she may use dermal fillers to combat deep set lines.”

Dr Nassif says, “Reba McEntire appears to have had a facelift, which is evident when she smiles. Additional fillers around her face are a good possibility as well, along with some Botox in the forehead as her skin appears very smooth.  Rhinoplasty is a possibility due to her narrow bridge. Overall she still looks good and does not appear overdone.”

Another nominee for Female Vocalist was Martina McBride. At 43, Martina is barely starting to show signs of aging, with just a few wrinkles on her neck and some minor crow’s feet. The sexy singer likely uses fillers like Juvederm to keep major signs of aging at bay.

Dr Nassif says, “Martina McBride has likely had some fillers around her face, and Botox in her forehead as her skin appears very smooth. I do not see evidence of a facelift or any major work done. She is naturally pretty, and has a very elegant look on her own.”

At 43, Lee Ann Womack appears to be one of many female country stars to have undergone a breast augmentation in the past. In addition, she may use injectables like Botox to keep her skin smooth for all the make-up that comes with being a country star.

Dr Nassif says, “Lee-ann Womack looks very natural. If anything, she may have had some fillers around her face, but I do not see any evidence of a facelift or a rhinoplasty.  Her look is great, and to maintain her natural appearance she would not benefit from any work at this time.”

The new Sports Illustrated Swimsuit edition isn’t due out for a while. But leaked photographs may have revealed model Hilary Rhoda’s possible plastic surgery.

Traditionally, Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition models have one thing in common: plastic surgery, and sexy Hilary Rhoda may be no exception.

Models traditionally have thin frames, tiny noses and large breasts. Generally the tiny nose is the careful work of a plastic surgeon, as are the large breasts, the work of a breast augmentation.

Dr. Paul S. Nassif, a facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon and a rhinoplasty specialist in Beverly Hills, California says, “Hilary Rhoda has a natural and beautiful look to her and I do not see evidence of any surgeries performed on her face.”

Plastic surgeon Dr. Alexander Rivkin, a specialist in injections, non-surgical treatments, lasers, says, “Beautiful girl. But I have no idea if she’s had anything done.”

As Hilary possesses both large breasts and a tiny nose, it seems a likely conclusion that she has been under the knife, like her Sports Illustrated peers, including recent cover girl Bar Refaeli (See Make Me Heal’s story on Bar Refaeli’s plastic surgery).

Manhattan plastic surgeon Dr. Jennifer Walden says, “Model Hilary Rhoda can be seen in this year’s most popular magazine in barely-there bikinis. Looking at the photo spread the beauty appears to have had a breast augmentation at some point, which looks relatively natural, with an implant size that fits her frame nicely.”

Hilary is a stunning young woman, with or without plastic surgery and Make Me Heal looks forward to seeing more of her as her modeling career continues to take off.
