Australian pop singer Vanessa Amorosi may not yet be a household name in the States, but that hasn’t stopped rumors of a nose job floating up from down under. Makemeheal.com investigates whether or not the rumors are true.

28-year old Vanessa Amorosi is known for her powerhouse vocals, but fans have also noted a change in Vanessa’s appearance over the past ten or so years. While it seems that in addition to a change in hair color, there is also a change in the shape of her nose, Vanessa and her people have never confirmed a rhinoplasty.

However, Vanessa’s new nose seems much smaller, especially around the tip, which seems to have been surgically altered significantly to a much more pinched shape.

Plastic surgeon Dr Sherrell Aston says, “After reviewing the pictures of Vanessa is does appear that she has had a tipplasty. Her nose looks much smaller and pinched in now.”

Dr. Paul S. Nassif, a facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon and a rhinoplasty specialist in Beverly Hills, California, says, “Vanessa Amorosi had rhinoplasty at some point in her life.  Her tip is less bulbous, and her nose appears pinched in her tip area as well.”

Board certified Manhattan plastic surgeon Dr. David Shafer says, “Based on the photographs, Vanessa Amorosi does appear to have a more defined tip and narrow mid-vault.”

Vanessa has also been rumored to have undergone an eyelift and/or breast augmentation, other rumors that remain unconfirmed.

Once known as the “Long Island Lolita,” Amy Fisher has certainly come away from being a teenage mistress who shot her boyfriend’s wife. Her most recent adventure involves stripping for charitable contributions to earthquake-stricken Haiti. Makemeheal.com thinks that plastic surgery is as much involved in Amy’s appearance as pole dancing.

Amy was only 17 when she rose to fame, or infamy. Since then, Amy, now 35, has worked as a journalist, writer and most recently a porn star, thanks to the release of a sex tape made with her husband Louis Bellera. Now the mother of 3 is touring the country as a stripper, with funds from some shows benefitting Haiti.

Amy looks great and very different from her Plain Jane roots. She has had an obvious breast augmentation and very likely a tummy tuck as well. In addition, she has likely had facework, Botox or a browlift as well as chin lipo or a chin implant.

OcBody plastic surgeon Dr John Di Saia says, “She has had some facial work as well as the breast implants.”

Board certified New York dermatologist Dr Judith Hellman says, “Amy Fisher definitely had a (big) breast augmentation. Since she has no pre body pictures, hard to say if it’s slimming down or lipo/tummy tuck that she had, but very likely it’s the latter- a little body work. Her face looks much thinner than when she was a teenager, possibly had chin treated by lipo. Botox- yes, looks like it with the smooth forehead. The rest is hard to tell.”

Dr. Paul S. Nassif, a facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon and a rhinoplasty specialist in Beverly Hills, California, says, “Amy Fisher appears to have had some work done.  She may have had Botox in her forehead and various fillers around her face. It is possible she had rhinoplasty at some point in her life as the shape of her nose appears different than it used to. Overall, she does not look too overdone.”

Amy’s latest venture has certainly landed her in her beloved limelight, but Make Me Heal is glad that she is doing some good while she is there this time.

Since Hills star Heidi Montag revealed her plastic surgery makeover earlier this month, Makemeheal.com has reported on everything from the reactions of Heidi’s co-stars to the surgery itself. But how do her parents feel about Heidi’s new look?

Heidi’s co-stars met the news of her procedures with mixed reactions (See Make Me Heal’s story on Heidi Montag’s plastic surgery). Lo Bosworth worried about the example she was setting a bad example for younger girls (See Make Me Heal’s story on Lo Bosworth’s plastic surgery), while frenemy Lauren Conrad remained mum and Audrina Partridge tried to be supportive (See Make Me Heal’s story on Lauren Conrad and Audrina Partrdige’s plastic surgery reactions).

Most recently, Heidi’s parents have reacted to her procedures, although the answers are vague.

In an interview with RadarOnline, Heidi’s father, Bill Montag, wouldn’t say much, but he did express concern for his daughter.

He said, ““Obviously, every parent has concerns. I have promised Heidi that I will not openly speak about the situation.”

While Heidi’s mother has not spoken openly about her daughter’s procedures, different sources are reporting various things. Dr Frank Ryan has reportedly said that Heidi’s mom, Darlene Egelhoff, was thrilled with the work he did and wants a makeover of her own, while PerezHilton.com reports that Heidi’s mom is furious with her and will confront her on an upcoming episode of The Hills. Heidi has said she plans to give her mother a plastic surgery makeover of her own for Mother’s Day.

Heidi’s parents aren’t the only ones with mixed reactions. Heidi’s husband, Spencer Pratt was also apparently unhappy with Heidi’s decision to under go more plastic surgery.

The plastic surgery fan told Access Hollywood, “He tried to stop me and he said, ‘What if you ruin everything? You’re so beautiful, you don’t need anything, you didn’t need surgery before. I just told him, you know, this is what I want to do. At the end of the day, this is my body. He cried when I went under, he was very upset.”

Make Me Heal wonders how Spencer felt when his little sister, Stephanie Pratt, went under the knife for her breast augmentation (See Make Heal’s story on Stephanie Pratt’s plastic surgery), and if he had the same strong reaction.

Heidi apparently wants to increase her even larger than before breast implants to a cup size “H for Heidi.”

Whether or not you think Heidi looks better or worse after her cosmetic surgery spree, she is certainly getting what she wanted most: attention.

Leeza Gibbons has been a television show host staple for years. Although Leeza generally attributes her great skin to her mineral make-up, line many suspect Leeza has had plastic surgery.

52-year old Leeza has never admitted to having plastic surgery. When asked during an interview with Larry King in 2000, Leeza responded:

“I’m claustrophobic, and if they [doctors] told me they could do this [surgery], my big fear is, ‘Oh, my gosh, what if I would have to get my eyes done and I’d have to have patches over my eyes?’ I can’t get facials because I can’t — I’m so claustrophobic. If I get to the point where things are really, you know, fried, died, lay to the side and sagging, I’ll go get therapy for the claustrophobia.”

Indeed, while Leeza does look different than when she was younger (who doesn’t?), it may just be superficial changes in hairstyle and make-up, rather than any invasive plastic surgery.

Board certified Manhattan plastic surgeon Dr David Shafer says, “I don’t see much change from the before and after pictures of Leeza Gibbons except a change of hairstyle and makeup.”

Leeza generally attributes her great skin to her mineral make-up line, Sheer Cover with Guthy-Renker. Whether or not Leeza has had plastic surgery or is relying just on make-up, it is definitely working for her.

Leslie Caron may not be the marquee star she once was, dancing with Gene Kelly in An American in Paris or being a courtesan-in-training in Gigi, but thank heaven for plastic surgery, it has helped the French/American actress stay young.

78-year old Leslie Caron is a screen legend thanks to her earliest roles. Still active, Leslie recently released a memoir, Thank Heaven, detailing her career and impressions of Hollywood.

During a recent interview with legendary gossip columnist Liz Smith, Leslie casually dropped her secret to staying so darn cute including having “a facelift or two.” While it’s great to see a member of Old Hollywood admitting to having had work, it is even better to see it be successful and not over done.

In addition to a couple of facelift, Leslie could also use some injectables, like Botox to take care of some of the creases around her eyes and maybe some fat grafting or filler in the region between her brows, just above the nose.

Board certified Manhattan plastic surgeon Dr David Shafer says, “Leslie Caron does have a slight facelift look.  She still has prominent crow’s feet which could be improved with Botox and glabellar depression which could be improved with fat grafting for Juvederm injections.  Her smile looks a bit asymmetric, but I don’t know if this is from surgery or pre-existing.”

Still acting, the former ballerina is set to appear in Steven Sondheim’s “A Little Night Music” at the Theatre du Chatelet in Paris beginning next month. Leslie is a film icon and a great example of plastic surgery done well.

Kathy Hilton usually only steps into the spotlight alongside her daughters, Paris and Nicky. But after much consideration, Makemeheal.com has decided to find out whether or not plastic surgery runs in the family or whether it has skipped a generation.

50-year old Kathy had dreams of Tinseltown and worked as an actress before becoming a socialite by marrying into the Hilton family of hotel heirs.

Kathy looks great for a mother of four at her age and it appears to be the work of great skincare and maybe a touch of Botox, rather than invasive plastic surgery.

Board certified Manhattan plastic surgeon Dr. David Shafer says, “Kathy Hilton looks great for her age.  She does have a slight Botox glow, but otherwise appears to be a natural beauty.”

Jessica Simpson may not be doing much on the music scene these days, but she is still managing to get attention, thanks to her bust.

Stepping out on a night out, newly single 29-year old Jessica drew attention from paparazzi thanks to her great cleavage. Debates have raged for years over whether or not Jessica’s breasts are natural are implants (See Make Me Heal’s story on Jessica Simpson’s breast augmentation).

In an interview with In Touch magazine, Miami plastic surgeon Dr Michael Salzhauer guessed that Jessica’s boost is from a bra, not a plastic surgeon. He says, “It’s possible she’s wearing a very tight push-up bra with a gel or water insert to fill the side and lower part of the cup.”

Jessica has always claimed her breasts are natural, but she has admitted to thinking about a breast lift in the future. In the past she has been quoted as saying, “But maybe after having kids, if my boobs dropped down to my belly button, I would get them lifted. …Maintenance. But you know, my boobs are real.”

In addition to looking bustier, Jessica also looks slimmer than she has recently, leading Makemeheal.com to speculate that the singer turned actress may have used some plastic surgery weight loss laser-assisted procedure such as Zerona, Lifesculpt, Vaser, Velashape

Bra or surgeon, Jessica looks great and is sure to be back in the spotlight soon.

Tattoo artist turned reality star Kat Von D is clearly no stranger to needles or body remodeling. But Makemeheal.com has noticed that every time she makes an appearance, it looks like she’s had more work.

27-year old Kat has been under the knife in the past, getting a nose job that slimmed down the bridge and tip (See Make Me Heal’s story on Kat Von D’s plastic surgery) as well as rumored breast augmentation.

More recently, it seems that Kat has been using facial fillers and Botox, given her recent appearance at a charity gala where she appeared to have a slightly fuller and smoother face than previously.

Board certified Manhattan plastic surgeon Dr David Shafer says, “Kat Von D does not look much different from previous. She may have had additional maintenance fillers or Botox since these usually only last several months to a year.”

OcBody plastic surgeon Dr John Di Saia says, “She has certainly had some surgery from the looks of her images.”

Kat is certainly keeping her face smooth enough for more tats, although if she has too many more fillers she may no longer look good.

Since his wife Linda tragically passed away from cancer, former Beatle Sir Paul McCartney just hasn’t been the same. With his possible engagement to yet another younger woman, American Nancy Shevell, Sir Paul might want to consider some more plastic surgery.

67-year old legendary musician has been under the knife before, to undergo an upper and lower eyelid surgery procedure known as a blepharoplasty (See Make Me Heal’s story on Paul McCartney’s plastic surgery).

Now, with his recent engagement to 48-year old Nancy Shevell, Paul may want to go under the knife again, for a lower facelift and necklift to reduce the sagging skin around his neck. A couple of injections of Botox or Radiesse may also be beneficial to get rid of some of the surviving Beatle’s crow’s feet and forehead wrinkles.

Board certified Manhattan plastic surgeon Dr Paul McCartney says, “Paul McCartney would benefit from a lower facelift and neck lift.  He could also use filler such as Radiesse in his midface.  Botox Cosmetic would be useful for his crow’s feet and forehead wrinkles.”

48-year old Nancy likely has some minor plastic surgery herself, like Botox across her forehead and the 11 between the eyebrows and may also use laser treatments like Fraxel to stay youthful looking. In addition, she clearly works out and has the body to prove it.

Paul’s ex-wife Heather Mills, was also a notorious plastic surgery user. The one-legged former model reportedly had a nose job, liposuction and breast augmentation before the relationship ended badly (See Make Me Heal’s story on Heather Mills’ plastic surgery).

Heidi Montag’s decision to undergo further plastic surgery after her nose job and breast augmentation 3 years ago has raised considerable controversy, including amongst her co-stars, Makemeheal.com has found.

23-year old Heidi recently revealed an astounding array of plastic surgeries (See Make Me Heal’s story on Heidi Montag’s plastic surgery), including nose job revision, chin reduction, mini brow lift, botox in forehead and frown area, fat injections in cheeks, nasolabial folds and lips, neck liposuction , ears pinned back, liposuction on waist, hips and inner and outer thighs, buttock augmentation and breast augmentation revision.

While Lo Bosworth has openly stated she disapproves of Heidi’s decision (See Make Me Heal’s story on Lo Bosworth’s plastic surgery opinion), her other co-stars have not been quite so outspoken.

When asked by People magazine what she thought of Heidi’s new cosmetic surgery look, 23-year old Lauren Conrad had no comment (See Make Me Heal’s story on Lauren Conrad’s plastic surgery). However, in the past she has talked about Heidi’s first breast augmentation and nose job after Mrs. Spencer Pratt appeared in Playboy, intimating that Heidi may have stripped down to pay for her procedures.

Back then, Lauren told Harper’s Bazaar, “They’re not going to pay for themselves.”

She also said you won’t find her in getting dirty in the pages of the famous men’s magazine, “Everyone makes those choices and wants to do different things. I just don’t have any interest in showing my body in something like that. That’s a little personal,” she said.

But FYI, Lauren will consider Botox in the future, although she isn’t interested in a breast augmentation (See Make Me Heal’s story on Lauren Conrad’s plastic surgery future).

Another of Heidi’s co-stars, 24-year old Audrina Partridge wasn’t quite as down on Heidi as Lo, but she did say that 10 procedures in 10 hours might be a bit much. Audrina’s more understanding statement might be because the brunette beauty has been under the knife herself for at least one breast augmentation she has never quite admitted to it, or anything else (See Make Me Heal’s story on Audrina Partridge’s plastic surgery denial).

Audrina told People, “I haven’t seen how she looks, so it’s hard for me to comment on it, but these are her decisions, and as long as Heidi is happy, that’s all that matters. I think it’s a case of, ‘To each their own,’ but 10 procedures in one day is a little much.”

Make Me Heal agrees that if Heidi is happy, that is all that matters, but we are concerned about her mental health, given her recent assertion that she is not addicted to plastic surgery because she had her work done all at once.
