Regis Philbin, and His Wife’s Joy of Plastic Surgery

Posted on March 10th, 2010 in Celebrity Plastic Surgery, Male Plastic Surgery by Lisa Stanfield

Regis Philbin has been an early morning show host for years. But how good would the favorite man of morning television look first thing in the morning without plastic surgery? Or his wife Joy, Regis’ sometimes co-host.

Regis Philbin, Plastic Surgery

68-year old Joy Philbin isn’t as famous as her other half. But that doesn’t mean she hasn’t had her share of Hollywood’s finest plastic surgeons. Joy has very smooth skin for a woman of her years, likely the result of a facelift in the past, which she has augmented with Botox and fillers like Juvederm, Restylane, or Radiesse.

Joy Phelbin, Plastic Surgery

According to Paul S. Nassif, a Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon and Rhinoplasty Specialist in Beverly Hills, California says, “Joy Philbin looks great for her age. It is possible she had a little bit of work performed. If so, it was performed conservatively and looks natural. She may have had a facelift at one point, and fillers along with Botox are a good possibility as well.”

Joy clearly takes good care of herself overall and likely leads a healthy lifestyle, including going to gym.

Miami plastic surgeon Dr. Michael Salzhauer says, “Joy has a remarkable figure. You can tell by her toned arms that she must work very hard on her body. I’m sure she has received a little help along the way from a plastic surgeon.  Her face is flawless, a little too much.  She does look like Botox and dermal fillers are part of her beauty regime. ”

78-year old Regis has been an on camera mainstay for years, adding on to his morning show duties with other activities. For a man who has heart surgery in the past, he looks remarkably youthful, most notably around the eyes. While many men his age have sags and bags on their upper and lower eyelids, Regis looks as though this may have been taken care of with a blepharoplasty procedure. He may also have had a necklift or sculpting procedure, if not a full facelift.

Dr Salzhauer says, “ Looks like Regis at some point had his eyes done (Blepharoplasty). His eyes are less wrinkled and sagging in comparison to his other facial features.  He probably refined his neck as well because it also appears less aged as the rest of his face. I do not think he has had a full facelift yet and would benefit from one in the future to compliment his younger looking eyes and neck.”

Dr Nassif says, “It is likely Regis Philbin had an upper blepharoplasty. By his age, men tend to have a bit of extra skin in the upper eyelid area. A facelift is a good possibility as well. Overall, the surgery appears to have been performed conservatively, and he does not appear too overdone. ”

Regis and Joy make a great couple and are still going after 40 years, nearly unheard of in Hollywood.

Plastic Surgery Reigns at the 2010 Oscars

The Big Night has come and gone. Now Makemeheal.com takes a look at all the plastic surgery parading down the 2010 Oscars red carpet.

In the Best Actor Category, all the actors seem to be as yet untouched by the knife, but could stand a little plastic surgery refreshment. Best Actor Oscar winner for Crazy Heart Jeff Bridges could stand a shave and some plastic surgery in his neck region (See Make Me Heal’s story on Jeff Bridges’ plastic surgery).

Jeff Bridges, Plastic Surgery

It’s unclear whether or not nominee for Best Actor for Up in the Air, George Clooney, has gone under the knife, but he may have had a blepharoplasty to get rid of the bags under his eyes (See Make Me Heal’s story on George Clooney’s plastic surgery).

George Clooney, Plastic Surgery

Make Me Heal congratulates all the Best Actor nominees for jobs well done, including Colin Firth in A Single Man, Morgan Freeman for Invictus (See Make Me Heal’s story on Morgan Freeman’s plastic surgery) and Jeremy Renner for The Hurt Locker.

Colin Firth, Plastic Surgery

In the Supporting Actor category, Make Me Heal congratulates winner Christoph Waltz for his work in Inglorious Basterds. He and his fellow nominees, Matt Damon for Invictus, Woody Harrelson in The Messenger, Christopher Plummer in The Last Station, and Stanley Tucci in The Lovely Bones all sport facial wrinkles and may have used injectables like Botox, Juvederm, or Dysport to get a fresh complexion on their big nights on the red carpet. (See Make Me Heal’s story on Christoph Waltz’ Plastic Surgery).

Christoph Waltz, Plastic Surgery

Rom-com favorite and America’s sweetheart, Sandra Bullock took home the Best Actress gold statue for her role in The Blind Side, with a little plastic surgery to keep her looking fresh and young (See Make Me Heal’s story on Sandra Bullock’s Botox).

Sandra Bullock, Plastic Surgery

Some of her fellow nominees have also seen the inside of the plastic surgeon’s office, including Helen Mirren, nominated for The Last Station who some believe has had a facelift while others believe she is totally natural (See Make Me Heal’s story on Helen Mirren’s plastic surgery).

Helen Mirren, Plastic Surgery

Oscar favorite, and butt of the evening’s running commentary, Meryl Streep, who has had a few facelifts, blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery), plenty of botox and injectable fillers, was nominated for her role in Julie & Julia (See Make Me Heal’s story on Meryl Streep’s plastic surgery).

Meryl Streep, Plastic Surgery

Carey Mulligan, nominated for An Education, has been found to be so beautiful she doesn’t need plastic surgery…yet (See Make Me Heal’s story on Carey Mulligan’s plastic surgery).  That’s not to say that she may not opt to have a few small tweaks as she ages like botox or juvederm.

Carey Mulligan, Plastic Surgery

Acting newcomer Gabourey Sidibe was also considered a favorite for her role in Precious: Based on the Novel Push by Sapphire. The plus sized actress may want to consider some weight loss measures such as exercise or surgery, which she may want to follow up with some plastic surgery procedures such as a tummy tuck, and body lifts to get rid of any excess skin that results from massive weight loss (See Make Me Heal’s story on Gabourey Sidibe’s plastic surgery).

Gabourey Sidibe, Plastic Surgery

Supporting Actress winner Mo’Nique for Precious: Based on the Novel Push by Sapphire, is not yet a plastic surgery fan and was still sporting hairy legs at the Oscars, so it seems she didn’t take our advice and invest in some laser hair removal (See Make Me Heal’s story on Mo’Nique’s plastic surgery) or a home laser hair removal device like Silk’n Sensepil.  Like her co-star Sidibe, she may want to consider weight loss although Mo’Nique carries her weight well and it’s become her trademark look so a slimmer version of herself may not boost her star appeal.

Mo'Nique, Plastic Surgery

Her fellow nominee, Penelope Cruz, nominated for her role in Nine, has been under the knife, for some lip augmenation via injectable fillers like Restylane, Juvederm or Prevelle at the very least (See Make Me Heal’s story on Penelope Cruz’s plastic surgery).

Penelope Cruz, Plastic Surgery

Vera Farmiga, nominated for Up in the Air, may or may not have some plastic surgery in her past to keep her skin taut and wrinkle-free, and she may want to consider cheek augmentation via fillers such as Sculptra as her cheeks are a bit sunken (See Make Me Heal’s story on Vera Farmiga’s plastic surgery).

Vera Farmiga, Plastic Surgery

Also nominated for the frequent flyer flick, Up in the Air, is Anna Kendrick. Young Anna hasn’t gotten any plastic surgery yet, but that is sure to change as her star continues to rise (See Make Me Heal’s story on Anna Kendrick’s plastic surgery).

Anna Kendrick, Plastic Surgery

Maggie Gyllenhaal was nominated for role in Crazy Heart. The Indie actress is rumored to have very recently undergone plastic surgery on her eyes and neck (See Make Me Heal’s story on Maggie Gyllenhaal’s plastic surgery).

Maggie Gyllenhaal, Plastic Surgery

Make Me Heal enjoyed the performances of all the nominees. Look out for Make Me Heal’s story on Best Picture winner The Hurt Locker and its pretty Oscar-winning director, Kathryn Bigelow, later in the week.

How Can Plastic Surgery Help Oscars Winner Christoph Waltz, nominees Matt Damon & Woody Harrelson

Actresses go through an amazing amount of prep work to get ready for Oscar night. But what about their male counterparts? Makemeheal.com takes a look at some of the Best Supporting actor nominees, including winner Christoph Waltz, and fellow nominees Matt Damon and Woody Harrelson and how they could benefit from some plastic surgery before and after Oscar night.

53-year old Christoph Waltz seems to have only recently made his Hollywood debut, but the Austrian actor may be headed for success thanks to his winning role in the Oscar nominated Inglourious Basterds. To appeal to an American audience used to perfection in their film stars, Christoph may want to try a little Botox and some facial fillers like Restylane, Perlane or Prevelle.

Christoph Waltz, Plastic Surgery

Dr Salzhauer says, “Christoph Waltz certainly uses his forehead muscles a lot as shown by the rows of lines he has in his forehead. Hyperactive muscles, aging, possibly weight loss and sun damage all look like they are taking a toll on his skin and face.  Botox would make a great improvement with the forehead lines and a facial filler to replace the lost volume in his cheeks would help him look younger and refreshed.”

Dr Nassif says, “Christoph Waltz does not appear to have had any surgery to improve his appearance. A natural look suits him well. He may benefit from conservative facial fillers and Botox, but it is strictly personal preference.”

39-year old Matt Damon plays a variety of roles and does them all well. He has been recognized for his role in Invictus. Matt could use some Botox to help him squint into the bright flashes of the carpet photographers.

Matt Damon, Plastic Surgery

Miami plastic surgeon Dr Michael Salzhauer says, “Matt Damon is known for his versatility in playing an array of characters from all- American boy to the rugged hero type.  It is rumored that he will be playing the role of Senator Robert Kennedy in an upcoming film and this is an important factor in him doing anything to his appearance. To give him that handsome celebrity glow for the Oscars he could benefit from some Botox in his forehead and a good skin peel to reduce some fine lines and sun damage.  The great thing about Botox for Matt is that it will rejuvenate his face without any down time and is temporary only lasting about 4 months so he can continue playing any character role. “

As Matt is still young and different standards apply to him than a female actress of the same age, Matt can get away with a few wrinkles and crow’s feet.

Dr. Paul S. Nassif, a facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon and a rhinoplasty specialist in Beverly Hills, California, says, “Matt Damon has not had any surgery to this point, and he would not benefit from any right now. He shows very minimal signs of aging, and should stick with his natural look. “

48-year old Woody Harrelson took a while to be a big screen favorite, but he eventually succeeded in stepping away from his role on the hit television show Cheers. Now, Woody is nominated for a supporting actor Oscar for his role in The Messenger. Woody manages to be leading man material, but his looks could be yet improved. Most obviously, he may want to consider some hair transplants for his receding hairline, and he may have dabbled with Juvederm or a similar facial filler in the past.

Woody Harrelson, Plastic Surgery

Dr Nassif says, “Woody Harrelson may have had some conservative facial fillers at some point. At this time, he may benefit from hair transplant surgery. That is strictly a personal preference, as a natural looks suits him just fine. “

If Woody wanted to really transform his look and appear much younger, he could do with eyelid surgery to eliminate the bags around his eyes. He may also want to consider having a nose job to get rid of his somewhat bulbous nasal tip.

Dr Salzhauer says, “In regards to a man’s appearance, it is very important to men to always look like men.  Especially when it comes to actors that have built their reputation around their masculinity. So it is important to make sure not to feminize their look.  An upper eyelid lift would do wonders for Woody to correct his sagging upper eyelids, but it should be conservative and not alter his natural eye shape. (Remember Kenny Rogers new look)  Also, a Rhinoplasty to correct his sagging tip could give him a more defined and sculpted look.”

Makemeheal.com wishes all the Supporting Actor nominees the best of luck at the upcoming Oscars ceremony.

2010 Oscar Hosts Steve Martin & Alec Baldwin Laugh it Up Without Plastic Surgery

This year’s Academy Awards will be a little different, hosted by not one but two famous faces: Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin. With so much funny in the room, Makemeheal.com wonders if there will be any space for plastic surgery.

For Alec Baldwin, hosting the Oscars may be the closest he gets to winning a gold guy of his own. The 51-year old 30 Rock star recently lamented his bad luck with films and predicted his own plastic surgery future(See Make Me Heal’s story on Alec Baldwin’s Plastic Surgery).

Alec Baldwin, Plastic Surgery

Miami plastic surgeon Dr Michael Salzhauer says, “Alec Baldwin would look years younger with a neck rejuvenation procedure.  A combination of neck liposuction and suspension sutures to sculpt his jaw line would make a dramatic improvement.”

Dr. Paul S. Nassif, a facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon and a rhinoplasty specialist in Beverly Hills, California, says, Alec Baldwin looks great, and has not had any work done to this point. He may have had a few fillers and Botox at some point in his life. Overall, his natural look suits him very nicely, and any further procedures are strictly up to him. “

Alec’s co-host, Steve Martin is another story. At 64 years old, Steve has built a reputation on being funny, even winning Emmy Awards for his comedic talent. While Steve does a lot of work behind the scenes, he is often onscreen and likely doesn’t use much in the way of plastic surgery, although he may have experimented with Botox or fillers like Juvederm in the past.

Steve Martin, Plastic Surgery

Dr Nassif says, “Steve Martin may have had conservative facial fillers and Botox at one point. He would not benefit from anything else right now, as his look is natural and suits him very well.”

Dr Salzhauer says, “I personally would be devastated if comedian Steve Martin did a dramatic cosmetic procedure to his face.  His funniest performances are when he contorts his face and makes facial expressions that only he can do.  I usually recommend Botox for everyone, but he is the one person who I say should go without.  I look forward to seeing his forehead muscles performing new tricks when he hosts the Oscars.”

Depending on the host, they can often be the best part of the long Academy Awards event and Make Me Heal looks forward to double the fun this year.

Does Leading Actor Oscar Nominee Jeff Bridges Need Plastic Surgery?

As one of the most diverse actors around, moving easily from comedy to drama, Jeff Bridges relies a great deal on his masculine looks. But that doesn’t mean the Crazy Heart nominee couldn’t benefit from some plastic surgery.

Jeff Bridges, Plastic Surgery

60-year old Jeff Bridges still looks great for his age, but time has definitely taken its toll. Jeff’s bright blue eyes are now hidden behind sags and bags, which could be taken care of with a blepharoplasty (upper and lower eyelid surgery). He could also use some help around his neck and jawline. The beard he is currently sporting actually accentuates this common problem area, which could be rectified with a mini necklift and some liposuction.

Miami plastic surgeon, Dr. Michael Salzhauer says, “Jeff is a very manly man.  Although his eyelids are sagging, his forehead is creased and his skin is sun-damaged, it fits his rugged persona.  Some minor treatments like Botox for the wrinkles around his eyes and forehead would give him a subtle improvement and still keep him looking like himself.  If he wanted to do one thing to make a huge improvement in his appearance I would have to say neck rejuvenation.  The beard doesn’t help with his sagging neck and jaw line, but neck liposuction in conjunction with some suspension sutures to define and sculpt his neck area would make a dramatic improvement and would take years off of his look.”

If Jeff wanted to take a more conservative approach, some Botox or Dysport in the deeper creases across his forehead and some fillers like Perlane or Restylane in his crow’s feet could be greatly beneficial.

Dr. Paul S. Nassif, a facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon and a rhinoplasty specialist in Beverly Hills, California, says, “Jeff Bridges does not appear to have had any plastic surgery.  He may benefit from conservative facial fillers, as crow’s feet are present around the eyes. Botox in the forehead may benefit him as well.”

Jeff is a great actor, taking after his father the late Lloyd Bridges and his 5 Oscar nominations over the years go a great way to prove it.

Did Avatar Stars Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana Have Plastic Surgery Special Effects?

With the Academy Awards this weekend, Makemeheal.com has begun its annual coverage of the Hollywood event, starting with Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana, the stars of the year’s biggest film, Avatar.

Nominated for 9 Oscars, Avatar is the latest sci-fi adventure from veteran blockbuster maker James Cameron. While the movie features an array of talented Hollywood faces, two of the younger stars don’t usually get as much notice: Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana.

33-year old British actor Sam Worthington is no stranger to the big screen. But as his name grows, he may want to consider some touch ups so that he can look a little younger on the red carpet and in his future roles.

Sam Worthington, Plastic Surgery

Botox and laser treatments like Fraxel could be done to help smooth away some of the lines and age spots on Sam’s visage. He could also consider an upper eyelid lift to get rid of some of the premature bags on his eyes.

Miami plastic surgeon Dr. Michael Salzhauer says, “Sam Worthington is very young but his face is looking older than his age.  There are a few things he can do to restore a youthful appearance to his face before the big night.”

“The creases in his forehead can be corrected with Botox and dermal fillers.  His upper eyelids are starting to sag and an upper Bleparoplasty or eyelid lift would really rejuvenate his face.  The final touch would be a laser treatment like Fraxel to diminish his obvious signs of sun damage and brown spots on his face.”

These are just suggestions, as Sam still looks young and rugged and does not need any immediate plastic surgery.

Dr. Paul S. Nassif, a facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon and a rhinoplasty specialist in Beverly Hills, California, says, “Sam Worthington is still young and has not had any work done at this point. He would not benefit from anything right now, as his natural features suit him nicely. “

31-year old Zoe Saldana looks good in blue, but in real life, she may look better with Botox. Although Zoe has a near flawless complexion, she is beginning to show signs of aging in the parentheses around her mouth. Dermal fillers like Restylane or Perlane could help this area match the rest of her perfect skin, helping her to look even better and younger.

Zoe Saladana, Plastic Surgery

Dr Salzhauer says, “Zoe clearly takes great care of her skin and knows the benefits of Botox.  She has a beautiful clear complexion and very smooth forehead. However, she could benefit from some dermal fillers to smooth out her nasolabial folds (the laugh lines) and give her a very soft and smooth look to complete her flawless look.”

As Zoe looks to have held out thus far on plastic surgery, any fillers would only help enhance her beauty, and she could do just as well without.

Dr Nassif says, “Zoe Saldana is still young and beautiful, and does not appear to have had any work done at this point. She would not benefit from anything right now, as her natural look is great.”

This Sunday is sure to be a big night for Avatar and Make Me Heal looks forward to seeing who goes home with the gold statue.

Does Pop star Justin Bieber Have Plastic Surgery in his Future?

Posted on February 25th, 2010 in Celebrity Plastic Surgery, Male Plastic Surgery by Dana Jackson

He might be talented, but where would pop singer Justin Bieber if it weren’t for his adorable appearance? Makemeheal.com thinks that young Justin may have some plastic surgery in his future, along with some Grammy awards.

15-year old Canadian pop singer Justin Bieber has become an international wonder, thanks to his pretty smile and soft hair. To get his bright white teeth so perfectly straight, Justin could be sporting dental veneers, like fellow pop singer, the newly engaged Hilary Duff (See Make Me Heal’s story on Hilary Duff’s plastic surgery).

Justin Bieber, Plastic Surgery

However, his young age suggests that he more likely had braces put on and removed recently and may be using grown up whitening treatments.

While Justin’s full lips likely appeal to the tween set, his seem to be natural and enhanced only by lip gloss, not soft tissue fillers like Juvederm or Restylane, which are commonly used to plump lips.

With Justin growing in popularity each day, Make Me Heal looks forward to seeing how far the young star goes before he reaches the top.

Does Spencer Pratt want Plastic Surgery?

Posted on February 23rd, 2010 in Celebrity Plastic Surgery, Male Plastic Surgery by Carrie Zender

Heidi Montag’s plastic surgery has been well documented, with friends and family of the blonde reality star weighing in on both sides of her new looks. The latest is Heidi’s husband Spencer Pratt, who may be looking into having some plastic surgery of his own.

Since emerging from her bandaged cocoon and revealing that she underwent 10 plastic surgeries in a single day, 23-year old Heidi has been getting more media attention than ever. (See Make Me Heal’s story on Heidi Montag’s plastic surgery). Now it seems that 26-year old Spencer may be feeling neglected as the unlikable villain of The Hills may be considering going under the knife himself.

Spencer Pratt, Plastic Surgery

A friend of the couple has told tabloids that Spencer is considering plastic surgery. Apparently the bearded blonde is considering, “lipo, chest implants and a nose job.”

Spencer and Heidi clearly like to stir up drama and stay in the spotlight, but having plastic surgery may not be the way to go about it.

Is Katie Price forcing New Hubbie Alex Reid into Plastic Surgery?

Posted on February 22nd, 2010 in Celebrity Plastic Surgery, Male Plastic Surgery by Lisa Stern

Katie Price may think she looks glamorous, but the British model formerly known as Jordan is best known for her over done plastic surgery, rather than any natural beauty. Now it seems that Katie is forcing her plastic surgery obsession on to her new husband, Mixed Martial Arts fighter Alex Reid.

34-year old Alex Reid is known for his controversial style in the ring, but his recent personal life is also stirring up controversy, from his dressing in drag as his alter-ego Roxanne to his recent marriage in a Las Vegas ceremony to the newly divorced Katie Price.

Alex Reid, Plastic Surgery

Katie Price is no stranger to plastic surgery, undergoing numerous breast implant and removal procedures and flying to Los Angeles from Britain for Botox injections (See Make Me Heal’s story on Katie Price’s plastic surgery). Now it seems that Katie isn’t satisfied with her own plastic surgery alterations, and wants her new husband to have some work himself.

Given Alex’s occupation, his ears and nose have taken on an unusual appearance, which Katie wants corrected, and some Botox injections as well.

Board certified New York dermatologist Dr Judith Hellman says, “Katie Price and poor poor Alex Reid doesn’t sound like a good story from the start. The guy is a fighter, for Pete’s sake… of course he will look like one! If his looks don’t please Katie now, it bodes not well for the future. What happened to “I love you just the way you are”, as Billy Joel sang? If Alex wants to play along and go for the nips and tucks, sure, he could get a nose job and fix his ears. However, if he continues in his line of work, the results will not last long, will they? So I think before plastic surgery, they should figure out if the marriage will survive her wishes for him to be something he is apparently not, in her view, right now! I personally like Alex looking the macho fighter man, with all his marks to show for it. This most certainly doesn’t apply tough to his picture in drag–I don’t know what to make of that. A psychiatrist perhaps would serve him better than a plastic surgeon right now.”

Board certified Manhattan plastic surgeon Dr David Shafer says, “Reports of Katie Price “forcing” her husband Alex Reid to have plastic surgery are disturbing. Plastic surgery is a personal decision and should only be made by the person undergoing the procedure.”

Paul S. Nassif, a Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon and Rhinoplasty Specialist in Beverly Hills, Calif. says, “Whether or not Alex Reid wants to have surgery should be his choice. Sometimes a spouse may be an influence, but it is ultimately an individual decision. If Alex went through any surgical procedures to change his nose and ears, it would be necessary for him to avoid fighting, as everything will need a certain time to heal.  This is especially the case for the nose. Even after being healed, if Alex is going to be involved in a contact sport with direct contact to the face, his nose is at very high risk for contact.  It is inevitable the nose will be subjected to force at some point. In this case, any work performed may be altered. ”

While Katie’s desire to have Alex go under the knife may not seem like a good idea, it is not uncommon for women to want their husbands to look their best, especially if they have been under the knife or needle themselves.

Plastic surgeon Dr Carmen Kavali says, “I have had several women bring in the husbands for Botox, fillers, or liposuction. The women themselves are usually established plastic surgery clients who just want their men to keep up with them.”

Miami plastic surgeon Dr. Michael Salzhauer says, “I would say it is common for a spouse to want the best for their partner- including looking their best.  Often I will have a husband who says his wife is beautiful the way she is, but will be the first one thanking me profusely after a breast augmentation procedure.  Alex could use a rhinoplasty to fix his presumably repeatedly broken nose, but I would recommend doing it after he retires from cage fighting since it will probably just get broken again.  I am a big advocate for Botox.  I think everyone can use a little Botox. Botox is a great way to get a fresh look without any surgery or down time.”

OcBody plastic surgeon Dr John Di Saia says, “No one needs cosmetic surgery. It is not common for a spouse to force the issue …at least not in my practice.”

Katie and Alex don’t seem likely to be a long-lasting relationship, but they do make for great entertainment for as long as they do last.

Did Republican Senator-elect of Massachusetts Scott Brown Have Plastic Surgery?

Posted on February 10th, 2010 in Celebrity Plastic Surgery, Male Plastic Surgery by Dana Jackson

Scott Brown has been in front of the camera even before the special election held for the seat of the late Ted Kennedy earlier this year. Back in the day he posed for Cosmopolitan magazine and as he looks much the same now as he did back then, many have wondered if the pretty boy has had plastic surgery.

Now 50, Senator Brown says he posed for Cosmo back in 1982 to help pay for law school.

At the time, the 22-year old said, “I’m not ashamed of my body. I sure work hard enough to keep it in shape. When you go to the beach, you automatically seek out the hard bodies. Why should it be any different in a magazine?”

Senator Brown lives a notoriously active lifestyle, long-distance running, bicycling and swimming, and his interest in activity, combined with good skincare seems to be his beauty secret, not plastic surgery.

Board certified Manhattan plastic surgeon Dr David Shafer says, “Scott Brown was blessed with good looks - that’s how he ended up on Cosmo’s centerfold.  He appears to be aging nicely.  Besides good genes and good skin care, he does not appear to have had any invasive plastic surgery.”

If Scott Brown has been to a plastic surgeon, it’s been for conservative Botox injections at most.

According to Paul S. Nassif, a Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon and Rhinoplasty Specialist in Beverly Hills, Calif., “Scott Brown has a very natural appearance and does not appear to have had any work done. There is a possibility he had some Botox but that is about all.”

Scott Brown has some very big shoes to fill in the late Senator Kennedy’s seat and he needs all the help he can get, surgical or otherwise.
