  • The Grammys showcased many of Makemeheal.com’s plastic surgery alumni, from winners to performers and some who just showed up. Amongst the standouts were Beyonce, Lady Gaga, Mary J Blige and the Black Eyed Pea’s Fergie.

28-year old Beyonce put a ring on it, courtesy of husband Jay-Z. But the Best Female Pop Vocal Performer winner for Halo (and a bunch of other nominations and wins) would not be so fierce if it were not for some plastic surgery. In the past, Beyonce has been rumored to have a nose job, breast augmentation and possible liposuction. In the past, plastic surgeon Dr Anthony Youn has said, “It does appear that her nose has been thinned to look more elegant. It matches her face well, is not overdone, and overall looks great. She has extraordinary grace in front of the camera.” (See Make Me Heal’s story on Beyonce’s plastic surgery).

Performer Mary J Blige sang a duet with tenor Andrea Bocelli to sing “Bridge Over Troubled Water” during a special fund-raising segment for Haiti relief. The 39-year old Queen of Hip Hop Soul also showed off her obvious breast augmentation while strolling the red carpet in a fuchsia dress with cut-out details over the chest. (See Make Me Heal’s story on Mary J Blige’s breast implants).

Always ready for attention 23-year old Lady Gaga won for Best Dance Recording for her song Poker Face, but once again failed the taste test in fashion. Pushing the envelope in a series of fashion failures throughout the night, Lady Gaga showed fans her well-done nose job and possible breast augmentation. Dr. Paul S. Nassif, a Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon and Rhinoplasty Specialist in Beverly Hills, Calif., said, “Lady GaGa definitely had a rhinoplasty. It looks a little pinched, but not bad.” (See Make Me Heal’s story on Lady Gaga’s cosmetic surgery).

34-year old Fergie may not have won a Grammy this year, although her group The Black Eyed Peas, was nominated in several categories, but she does win for having the most plastic surgeries. Since being a child performer, Fergie has had the following rumored procedures: rhinoplasty, breast augmentation, endoscopic brow lift, Botox injections as well as possible chin and cheek implants. Dr. Paul S. Nassif, a Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon and Rhinoplasty Specialist in Beverly Hills, Calif., said, “Fergie has had a nose job: it’s pinched but it doesn’t look bad. If she couldn’t breathe out of it, I’d reconstruct it.”

“Also, her jaw angle looks wider, possibly indicating jaw implants. Her cheeks also look more full, which are possibly cheek implants.” (See Make Me Heal’s story on Fergie’s Plastic Surgery Makeover).

Miami plastic surgeon Dr Michael Salzhauer says,  The mark of a good cosmetic surgeon, is that you don’t see a mark. Fergie looks amazing at the 2010 Grammy’s. Compared to a year ago, her face seems softer and more rejuvenated. I suspect that she had some great skin care such as chemical peels and a touch of botox to give her face that flawless glow. It also looks like she had a subtle refinement to her nose which looks great giving her that soft look to her face.”

The above are just a few of the plastic surgery users Make Me Heal spotted at the recent awards show. Others include Britney Spears and Taylor Swift amongst many others.

And let’s not forget Beyonce’s lip reduction…personally I think she looked better before, how would you put it, more “ethnic”. Much more striking. She’s just looking more blander as time passes.

. I don’t see any difference. Even if she did decide to get anything done its her choice its anyone’s choice not yours. I’m sure that you are so perfect that if you had the chance to stand up and be analyzed by the world that they would find no faults in you and if they did you would know they were wrong and never doubt your self. Its amazing how much crap spews out of your head and onto this site.

I agree with you Darian.. she did look better the way she was before the plastic surgery.. I think we’re you’re in the limelight, you should expect to be criticized for every choice you make, because as a celebrity, you are a role model to many who may desire to be like you, and if you advocate plastic surgery when you don’t need it, then many people, mostly the youth will continue to think that to be sexy means to alter your looks instead of being comfortable in your own skin and dealing with whatever flaws you may have.
