This year’s MTV Video Music Awards were more exciting than those of the past, with performances that actually got people talking, not sleeping. From Miley Cyrus and her raunchy striptease to Richard Simmons being on the red carpet, this year’s VMAs are sure to keep people talking for a while. Or at least as long as Madonna’s liplock with Britney back in the day. From bare derrieres to barely there necklines, there was also a lot of ways to out plastic surgery rumors.
Miley Cyrus is the talk of the town. The 20-year stripped down to a flesh-colored bra and panty pleather set to give Robin Thicke a provocative lap dance during the singers combined performances of their hit songs “We Can’t Stop” and “Blurred Lines.” There’s wasn’t much to conceal any plastic surgery that Miley might have had, so she probably hasn’t had any, as her scars would have been up front and personal.
Lady Gaga sent Will Smith and his family’s jaws dropping to the floor when she took the stage and ended up in nothing more than a seashell-top and a G-string covered in flowers. In the past, Lady Gaga has shot down rumors that she has had plastic surgery, saying that any apparent enhancements to her body are the result of costume design, not surgery and in this she appears to be truthful. Fans got a really good look at Lady Gaga’s natural assets and it is certain that the shocking star has not had breast implants or buttocks augmentation of any kind.
Richard Simmons, the crazy energetic exercise guru brought his zany personality to the VMAs red carpet, with his neon outfit overshadowing even Katy Perry’s bold look. Richard probably burns calories in his sleep as he is excessively mobile, but the 65-year old’s exercise routine also looks to be helping him stay fit in short-shorts. Richard’s face looks natural and has wrinkles befitting a man his age, so her probably doesn’t use Botox. However, he does have a little sun damage that could probably benefit from a chemical peel or microdermabrasion.
Katy Perry, Richard’s red carpet date, looked stunning in a figure hugging leopard print dress from Emanuel Ungaro, which she paired with a temporary grill that read “roar.” Katy has said that she considered getting breast reduction surgery in the past, but has ultimately decided to embrace her curves. Katy has also been known to struggle with acne and the ProActiv spokesperson could likely benefit from a ProSonic to help clean her pores and makeup—and even make ProActiv products more effective.
Taylor Swift rocked a very plunging black gown—showing off what could be teeny tiny breast implants. Taylor’s breasts are small, but they seemed to be doing that thing where they move away from each other as a result of being on a very thin frame, making them look bolted on. Not only did Taylor get noticed for her dress, she was also caught dropping a possible “F-bomb” to bestie Selena Gomez while her ex, Harry Styles was up on stage. Although what she was really discussing is anyone’s guess.
With all the overt sexiness of the 2013 VMAs, coupled with the reunions of N’Sync and Danity Kane, this year’s VMAs are sure to have tongues wagging until at least next year’s show.
