The Country Music Awards were held last night, and as usual plastic surgery was everywhere, along with big hair and plenty of sparkles. While many CMA stars are veterans of both the industry and Makemeheal.com, there were a few new faces as well.

44-year old Martina McBride was nominated for female vocalist of the year, and while it doesn’t look as if she’s had much more plastic surgery than last year, she may have used some fillers or injections of Sculptra and possible a laser Thermage treatment to get ready for the ceremony this year.

Sarasota, FL Plastic Surgeon, J. David Holcomb M.D. who has never treated Marina McBride said based on the photos, “her age does seem to be showing a bit more in this photo… but she may have had soft tissue augmentation of the cheeks (eg fat graft or injectable), and maybe a laser treatment.”

Reba McEntire is another favorite female vocalist, and this country music turned actress looks great, most likely due to some careful plastic surgery touchups through the years, including a possible facelift or neck lift and upper and lower blepharoplasty. Reba may also use Fraxel laser treatments to keep her skin smooth and blemish-free.

Dr. Holcomb has never treated Reba, but he suspects she has likely had an, “upper and lower eyelid lift, laser resurfacing, face/neck lift.”

Many of the other female vocalists, including Taylor Swift (See Make Me Heal’s story on Taylor Swift’s plastic surgery), Carrie Underwood (See Make Me Heal’s story on Carrie Underwood’s plastic surgery) and Miranda Lambert are rather young for anti aging plastic surgery treatments, but may undergo laser treatments to stave off fine lines and acne. Miranda’s the best female vocalist, album of the year for “Revolution,” and video winner for “The House That Built Me,” small nose and large bust may be the result of a nose job and breast augmentation, which are common in young stars. Both Carrie Underwood and Taylor Swift have been rumored to have undergone similar procedures in the past.

CMA host Carrie Underwood has likely not undergone plastic surgery, nor has her cohost and Entertainer of the Year winner Brad Paisley. If Brad wanted to freshen up for next year, he could use some fat grafting or fillers to fill in the sunken parts of his cheeks, as well as some Botox in his crow’s feet.

Brad’s competitor for both Entertainer of the Year and Male Vocalist of the Year, Keith Urban, aka Mr. Nicole Kidman (See Make Me Heal’s story on Nicole Kidman’s Breast Augmentation), looks like he may have undergone some plastic surgery in the past. His nose looks a little more defined than in his younger years, indicating a possible minor nose job, and his face has filled out, due either to weight gain or facial fillers.

The big event of the night was a performance by Gwyneth Paltrow in preparation for her upcoming movie role as a country music singer. In the past, Gwyneth has been rumored to have had numerous plastic surgeries, including a nose job, breast augmentation, facelift and injectable fillers (See Make Me Heal’s story on Gwyneth Paltrow’s plastic surgery).
