American Idols have gotten flack in the past for their appearance: Kelly Clarkson for her weight gain or Fantasia for her crazy hair. But no one seems to have stirred up more controversy than runner-up Adam Lambert.
27-year old Adam was popular for his ambiguous sexuality. Then he was “outted,” although his preferences still remain somewhat unclear. But after a sexually charged performance at the AMA’s, Adam’s popularity has soared.
Adam’s unusual looks, somewhat resembling Elvis Presley’s, could be the result of a skilled plastic surgeon, or just the result of wearing more make-up than traditional men. Make Me Heal is betting that cosmetic fixes are what gives Adam his smooth skin and smoldering eyes, not Botox and nose jobs.
Dr. Paul S. Nassif, a Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon and Rhinoplasty Specialist in Beverly Hills, Calif., said, “Adam Lambert is still very young and does no show any evidence of having had work done. His nose and facial features appear natural. Sometimes, makeup may be the cause for any features that appear sharper than usual on a male.”
Make Me Heal is glad that ABC has reconsidered their stance on allowing Adam on their programs and wishes the singer the best of luck with his career.
