  • Amanda Seyfried has such luminous clear skin that it seems to radiate through the screen. And while Amanda is jumping on the Botox bandwagon any time soon, it seems that she is against plastic surgery, just isn’t planning on having any right now. Instead she has a slew of beauty secrets that she recently shared with Marie Claire magazine’s UK edition.

28-year old Amanda Seyfried looks so glamorous at all times that it’s hard to imagine that the star of television and film would consider going under the knife. Yet she reveals in a recent interview with Marie Claire UK that while she has already noticed some signs of aging, she is holding off on getting plastic surgery—including Botox until she is a bit older.

“I have my fair share of wrinkles, but I won’t have Botox until I’m at least 40,” she says.

In the meantime, she follows a skincare regimen and makes sure to wear sunscreen every day to prevent more wrinkles from forming.

“I just try to take care of my skin by cleansing, using a high-tech moisturizer like Clé de Peau Nourishing Emulsion, and wearing an SPF every day.”

She also shared that while she is careful about taking care of her skin, she is a little more lax when it comes to her hair. Apparently the secret to her shiny blonde locks is a less is more philosophy when it comes to washing and styling.

“I don’t wash my hair very often, so dry shampoo is my saviour,” Amanda told the May issue of British magazine Marie Claire. “I love Kevin Murphy’s Fresh Hair, although you have to be careful with dry shampoos that they don’t give you dandruff.”

“I never style my hair – I prefer it when it’s been naturally air dried, as it goes soft and wavy-straight, which is my ideal look,” she added.

And while Amanda keeps her makeup to a minimum, she says that red lipstick is how she perks herself up for a hit of glam.

“Red lips give a fail-safe injection of glamour,” she said. “I’m usually too lazy to put on lipstick properly, but I noticed the other night, after I outlined my lips and spent time blotting and reapplying, it actually stayed on throughout dinner.”

Amanda’s new plastic surgery revelation follows what she has said in the past about going under the knife. Although she is one of Hollywood’s stunners, she says that she still has some insecurities about her looks and that while she has thought about plastic surgery to fix her flaws, she has yet to take the plunge.

“I’ve considered a lot of things – like I want to have a nose job and fix my skin, but I just think that maybe at some point people would go too far,” she said. “I’ll age gracefully for now. I’m only 25.”

Because Amanda has grown up on camera, she has already been subject to plastic surgery rumors, including a jaw augmentation and breast implants.
