Next weekend Enchanted’s Amy Adams stars in the film Doubt, alongside Philip Seymour Hoffman and Meryl Streep. Before the movie hits theatres, Make Me Heal investigates whether or not the Oscar nominee has had any plastic surgery.
At 34, Amy is at an age when many actresses begin to have plastic surgery, whether it is under the knife or under the needle. But it is unlikely that the talented actress has had any drastic work to make her pretty as a princess.
According to Paul S. Nassif, a Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon and Rhinoplasty Specialist in Beverly Hills, California, “It doesn’t look as if Amy Adams has had surgery. The only difference that I see is that she is wearing more make up in her more recent photos.”
Indeed, Amy appears to be a rare untouched beauty in Hollywood, although she may be beginning to use Botox to maintain her smooth complexion.
Plastic surgeon Dr. Jennifer Walden notes, “Amy has a fresh and pretty look about her, in the recent photos provided her brow and forehead look very smooth, almost as if she’s had a little Botox. Botox is a selective muscle relaxant that is injected into specific areas for cosmetic purposes to smooth wrinkle and furrows; it is quite popular in this age range whether you happen to be a celebrity or not.”
Amy appears in Doubt alongside legendary actress Meryl Streep, who although she has likely had a nip or tuck in her time, has spoken openly against plastic surgery. (See Make Me Heal’ story on Meryl Streep’s plastic surgery).
Amy Adams is just beginning to become a popular household name and because she can also sing, likely has a long career ahead of her. And most likely some plastic surgery to help enhance it.
