  • Patricia and Cyb Barnstable are best known as the Barnstable twins, one of many sets of twins that appeared in Doublemint gum commercials back in the late 70s. These days the twins still look fresh and young, thanks to matching plastic surgery.

    The Barnstable Twins, Plastic Surgery

The 58-year old Barnstable twins enjoyed some minor fame back in the day, appearing on gum commercials and television specials before landing their own short-lived sci-fi series known as Quark.

Back in the day, Patricia and Cyb made a living off looking and acting alike and it seems that not much has changed. Nowadays, the twins look as though they have undergone some plastic surgery to keep them looking the same and as young as ever.

The twins look like they’ve had dermal fillers like Restylane or Juvederm injected, although Patricia may have gone a little overboard with them, getting “chipmunk cheeks.” In addition, they both likely use Botox to smooth their foreheads and get rid of any lines between the brows. At some point, the twins may also have undergone matching nose jobs, as the better-known Olsen twins are rumored to have done ((See Make Me Heal’s story on the Olsen twins’ nose jobs).

Miami plastic surgeon Dr. Michael Salzhauer says, “The Barnstable Twins both look like they have had a nose job or Rhinoplasty, Botox and dermal fillers.  It seems like one has enhanced her checks a bit more with facial fillers, but otherwise they have duplicated their cosmetic efforts to stay young looking, and stay looking like twins.”

Dr. Paul A. Nassif, a Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon and Rhinoplasty Specialist in Beverly Hills, California says, “The Barnstable twins both appear to have had rhinoplasties performed, as their noses appear narrower and slightly overdone compared to older photos. Facial fillers and Botox are likely, and a facelift is a possibility for both of them as well.”

These days the twins are using their matching assets to promote their family philanthropy, holding Barnstable Brown Gala the night before the Kentucky Derby, which raises money for diabetes.
