The Golden Globes red carpet has come and gone and whether you thought that gal pals Tina Fey and Amy Poehler were funny or not, you must have noticed that the best examples of plastic surgeries were so subtle that you couldn’t even tell.
Tina Fey and Amy Poehler proved that girls may just run the world with their hosting abilities. Neither funny lady looks to have had plastic surgery, and Tina has said in the past that even Botox wouldn’t work for her lifestyle and profession. However, she may want to try some scar treatments or scar revision techniques to help improve the childhood trauma on her cheek (See Make Me Heal’s story on Tina Fey’s plastic surgery).
Despite her recent divorce, Amy doesn’t look to have had a makeover to help her snag a new guy. Instead, she looked like she takes good care of herself and had fun getting glammed up for the occasion. However, she could use a little Botox to help the frown lines between her brows from showing up even when she’s not frowning.
Girls creator and star Lena Dunham isn’t shy about showing off her less than Hollywood body, but her lack of plastic surgery hasn’t affected her career one iota. Despite showing off thighs that many think could benefit from liposuction at best and fewer dumplings at the least, Lena hasn’t given in to Hollywood’s obsession with perfection and walked away with a Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Television Comedy Series. Girls also won the award for Best Television Comedy.
Ed Harris won for his category, Best Supporting Actor in a Mini Series. The Game Change star has changed up his appearance over the years, thanks to the results of natural aging. He still looks good, but could look a little less rough around the edges with some laser treatments to get rid of fine lines and age spots.
The highlight of the Golden Globes was when 50-year old veteran actress Jodie Foster accepted the Cecil B. DeMille Award for Lifetime Achievement award and came out as gay during her speech. In the past, Jodie Foster has been rumored to have had plastic surgery, including a possible nose surgery as a young actress, but the rumors have never been confirmed (See Make Me Heal’s story on Jodie Foster’s plastic surgery) and Jodie has said that she thinks plastic surgery is fine if it makes people happy.
