Ashlee Holmes, Real Housewife of New Jersey Jacqueline Laurita’s, daughter, reportedly underwent some Botox injections, shocking viewers because she was under 25. But another reality television mother/daughter duo topped them all when Big Rich Texas star DeAynni Hatley took daughter Shaye to her plastic surgeon for Botox treatments—at the tender age of 15.
In an episode of Big Rich Texas, momma DeYanni decides that Shaye has wrinkles in her forehead and needs Botox injections to prevent them from deepening. So she heads to her plastic surgeon for treatment. Luckily, the doctor refuses to perform the procedure. Here’s a look at the scene, courtesy of RealityTea.com
On the couch, DeAynni explains, “I’m bringing Shaye to Dr. A today because she has these railroad tracks on her forehead that I think are unsightly. She needs Botox.” Dr. A tells Shaye she’s too young. DeAynni butts in, saying, “It’s preventative. We want to be proactive.” Dr. A goes over the importance of sun block and skin care. Shaye thinks that stuff takes too much time and asks the doctor to make an exception. Dr. A stands his ground, refusing to inject the child with Botox. DeAynni is mad. The sad excuse for a mother then says to her impressionable daughter, “Maybe we’ll just buy you a big visor to cover those wrinkles on your forehead.”
Later in the episode, Shaye goes shopping with her friends and tells them about the Botox incident. They too are shocked that she would need or consider Botox at her age. One friend even says, “You can get something that alters your face but you can’t go out on a date and have a boyfriend?”
While Botox can be a preventive measure against wrinkles, it doesn’t need to be used before wrinkles even start and especially at an age when development is still taking place, like in Shaye’s case.
Sunscreen is an excellent preventative against not only signs of aging but skin cancer as well and it is good to get into the habit of applying it daily at a young age.
Another young reality star, Ashlee Holmes, Real Housewife of New Jersey Jacqueline Laurita’s, daughter, underwent some Botox injections and horrified viewers of the show, although at 23, she seems downright mature compared to young Shaye.
Ashlee told RadarOnline, “Botox is most effective on wrinkles that haven’t quite set, so I tried it. I really don’t see the big deal.”
“People lose their minds over other women getting cosmetic procedures. I say, if you have the finances and you feel like it’s something that will make you feel more confident, why not go for it.”
“It’s not like I’m out there telling women, ‘Hey, the only way you can be beautiful is by getting all sorts of injections.’ I believe that everyone should be comfortable in their own skin. If you can do that without touching your face at all, good for you.”
“However, for some people that might mean trying out some new tricks. Everyone needs to relax. So many women much more well known than me have tried Botox, so it’s going to be okay.”none
