  • Every man loves full, luscious lips.  Everyone from pin-ups like Marilyn Monroe to Jessica Rabbit seem to have that perfect pout.

Scientists have even found that the size of a woman’s lips play an important role in determining whether they are sexually attractive to a man or not.  Essentially, bigger, fuller lips equals better.    Women with fuller lips are often associated with sensuality and confidence.

Unfortunately, lip fillers are expensive and not everyone is blessed with the money to help achieve those plump, kissable lips.  Many people suffer from overly-thin lips that give off a ghastly schoolmarm look ─ even celebrities!  Read below to find out which Hollywood celebrities suffer from pursed, stern lips and what they can do to help fix their pout (and yours)!

    Kirsten Dunst

Kirsten Dunst may be one of the hottest actresses of the millenial generation, but the Marie Antoinette starlet is also cursed by notoriously thin lips.  The actress who has battled anorexia and other body issues in the past has gone on record to describe the challenges she has faced with finding the right lipstick or lip-gloss for her mouth.

However, rather than opt for expensive, invasive lip fillers, Kirsten Dunst may be better served by using a lip-plumping balm such as Dr. Lewinn Resculpt 3-D Lip Plumping Balm – SPF 15 (by Kinerase).  This lip-plumping balm helps plump and improve lip contours and curves in as little as five minutes.  By applying this sheer, glossy formula, lips are dramatically re-shaped on three dimensions: volume, surface area and curvature, lasting up to 20 hours!

    Gwyneth Paltrow

Gwyneth Paltrow seems to have it all and she usually has no problem letting you know that!   The Shakespeare In Love Oscar-winning actress is notorious about bragging about her lavish lifestyle and rock-star husband on her lifestyle website Goop.  However, the daughter of actress Blythe Danner may be lacking in one area: her thin, lipless mouth!

Paltrow may have all the money in the world to pay for lip augmentation but the actress has gone on record to state that she is against invasive plastic surgery:

“And I still refuse to use silicone, Botox or other of those gimmicks out of pure vanity.”

Judging by the evidence that the actress has had a nose job, boob job and chin augmentation, Paltrow may be lying to save face.  But nonetheless, should she decide not to go under the knife again, she may want to consider using a quick, lip-volumizing product such as Physicians Formula Plump Potion Needle-Free Lip Plumping Cocktail.  Specially-formulated with a high-tech cocktail, this non-irritating lip-plumping lacquer helps transform lip’s appearance, contour, size and color so that they look and feel fuller, smoother and sexier.

    Robert Pattinson

Women aren’t the only ones who can suffer from unattractive vampire-thin lips.  Men such as Twilight superstar Robert Pattinson may also from not having a kissable pout!  Fortunately for Pattinson, his thin lips may not be keeping him from maintaining millions of screaming girl fans.

According to Seventeen Magazine, Robert Pattinson’s “thin lips” reveal him as “this mysterious guy [who] keeps his true self hidden.”

While this may or may not be true for a vampire, Pattinson may want to consider contouring his lips as he ages.  According to Dr. D’Anne Kleinsmith, the older you get, the less collagen you produce and this keeps your lips from maintaining their youthful plumpness.  The sun’s UV rays may expedite collagen breakdown and make lips appear thinner.

“One way to help preserve the fullness of your lips,” Dr. Kleinsmith states, “is to protect them from the sun by wearing a lipstick or lip balm with sunscreen.”

Should the on-screen vampire decide to brave the sunlight, Pattinson might want to consider applying a long-lasting lip treatment for men such as Menscience Advanced Lip Protection SPF 30.  While most men may be against applying any sort of lip product, this lip-protection stick applies easily and offers no greasy residue the way lipstick or chapstick does.  This way R-Pat can protect and plump his lips without having to turn in his man-card!

Lips are important.  We eat, kiss and talk with them and nobody wants thin, unattractive lips.  Fortunately, with some of the inexpensive, easy-to-use products such as above, we can help make our lips kissably pouty and plump.
