Charo is a Latina performer that has been entertaining audiences for over forty years. But the overtly sensual singer might not have a job anymore if it weren’t for some over the top plastic surgery.
Reports of Charo’s age place the Spanish sensation at anywhere from 68 to 58. In that time, Charo has managed to stay relevant, thanks to an ample amount of plastic surgery.
Always known for her sexy costumes, Charo has filled them out better than ever in recent years, thanks to an obvious breast augmentation. In addition, she has also gone under the knife above the neck, getting a facelift, eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) and lip injections.
Plastic surgeon Dr. Sherrell J Aston says, “In my opinion Charo has had a Facelift, Blepharoplasty, Breast Augmentation and Lip Injections. She has worked hard to maintain a provocative appearance.”
Charo likely also uses facial fillers, like Restylane and Juvederm, and chemical peels in between surgeries to keep up appearances. She probably also spends a lot of time eating well and exercising to stay in shape for her flamboyant outfits and onstage costumes.
Charo, born María Rosario Pilar Martínez Molina Moquiere de les Esperades Santa Ana Romanguera y de la Najosa Rasten in Spain, became a staple of American entertainment after making her debut on Laugh-in, a popular television show in the late 1960s.
Most recently, Charo entertained on the 44th annual Jerry Lewis Muscular Dystrophy Association Telethon. She has performed on 22 of the famous Telethons, which raised over $60 million for the cause this year alone.
Charo has long been the life of the party and Make Me Heal wishes her another 40 years in the biz.
