Cher hasn’t been on the big screen in a while, but she’s making a return in the upcoming film Burlesque. Makemeheal.com suspects that the diva will be having more plastic surgery to go with her interviews about the film.
64-year old Cher is on the cover of this month’s Vanity Fair, sounding off about everything including plastic surgery.
Although Cher is as well-known for her plastic surgery as she is for her musical and acting accomplishments, she still admires other women her age who haven’t spent nearly as much time under the knife, including Meryl Streep.
In the interview Cher says, “I think Meryl [Streep] is doing it great,” praises Cher, adding with a laugh, “The stupid b—- is doing it better than all of us! But I don’t like it. It’s getting in my way. I have a job to do, and it’s making my job harder. I’ve been screaming at the top of my lungs at my family, ‘Work out! Work out! Old age is coming!’ At some point you will need the strength. Who would have ever thought you would get this old?”
In addition to working out, Cher also spends a great deal of time in the plastic surgeon’s office. Over the past forty years, Cher has had more than one nose job, breast augmentation, and possibly a tummy tuck and liposuction. Although she denies rumors of cheek implants, Cher may be keeping her inherited cheeks plump via fat grafts or fillers like Sculptra and Radiesse. Cher most likely also gets regular injectable fillers and wrinkle treatments like Botox, Juvederm and Restylane she likely uses monthly to fill in or freeze wrinkles between her brows, on her forehead and around her mouth. In addition, Cher has most likely had a facelift or two as well as eyelid surgery.
Dr. Paul S. Nassif, a Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon and Rhinoplasty Specialist in Beverly Hills, California says, “Cher appears to have had a facelift, rhinoplasy, browlift, facial fillers, Botox, and lip augmentation. It is difficult to determine if she had multiple surgeries in the same area. Cher would not benefit from any additional work at this time.”
Miami plastic surgeon Dr. Michael Salzhauer says, “Cher is definitely no stranger to cosmetic surgery. She has probably had much more facial work done than body work. Her face, neck, eye and brows have all been lifted and probably maintains her look with “mini” procedures every 5- 10 years.”
Makemeheal.com looks forward to seeing Cher give the much younger Christina Aguilera a run for her money in the upcoming film Burlesque.
