Although her plastic surgery recovery was immaculate, Christie Brinkley does have an aging tell that gives away the supermodel’s real age: hear hands.
57-year old Christie Brinkley looks remarkable for a woman of any age, let alone one nearing the age of grandmother-hood. Plastic surgery in the form of a facelift and a blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery) to get rid of eye bags, a mini necklift to get rid of the appearance of sagging jowls and may also use fillers like Restylane and Juvederm to stay looking firm and plump in the cheeks department. In addition she may have CoolTouch, Active FX or Fraxel laser treatments help minimize fine lines and facial blemishes and reduce the effects of sun damage (See Make Me Heal’s story on Christie Brinkley’s plastic surgery). While Christie’s face has landed her a Broadway role, her hands belie her true age.
For Christie to truly conceal her age and be a full supermodel she could use chemical peels and laser treatments to get rid of age spots and wrinkles on the backs of her hands. She could also consider fat grafts as well.
Miami plastic surgeon Dr. Michael Salzhauer says, “The appearance of the hands is the biggest tell-all of a person’s age. Chemical peels or laser treatments can help reduce the appearance of spots and some wrinkles. In order to create a smoother appearance to her hands she could try injecting fat to decrease the appearance of her veins.”
Although stage makeup isn’t the most flattering, plastic surgery is certainly keeping Christie looking as super as ever.
