Cyndi Lauper looks like she isn’t having fun anymore, thanks to some possible over zealous plastic surgery laser treatments.
57-year old Cyndi Lauper looks nothing like her pop star self, which could be the result of plastic surgery treatments, such as laser therapy, gone wrong.
“Cyndi Lauper doesn’t look like she just wants to have fun in this photo, and with good reason,” celebrity plastic surgeon Dr. Anthony Youn, who hasn’t treated the singer, told RadarOnline.com in an exclusive interview.
“Her face looks puffy and bloated and her complexion also looks uneven and blotchy,” he explained.
“Could this be the result of a previous treatment that left her face red, inflamed and painful-looking? Possibly so!”
“Overly aggressive laser treatments can result in scarring and pigmentary problems,” revealed Dr. Youn.
Luckily, the puffy effects will wear off eventually, leaving Cyndi looking more like her old fun self.
It’s surprising that Cyndi would consider plastic surgery at all, given that she recently Wendy Williams Show about how a 2006 tummy tuck was “the worst thing” she’d ever done.
“The surgeon was a diva…she left and some student closed me up. It’s not good,” she told the talk show host.
After her tummy tuck recovery, it seems that Cyndi has continued to fight aging on face, with mixed results. She appeared with blotchy red skin earlier this year, the result of a rash or harsh chemical peels (See Make Me Heal’s story on Cyndi Lauper’s plastic surgery).
Makemeheal.com wishes Cyndi better luck with plastic surgery in the future.
