Toby Sheldon gained notoriety after revealing that he has spent $100,000 on plastic surgery to look just like Justin Bieber. Now it seems that he has teamed up with other people who have spent major dough on plastic surgery to look like their Hollywood heroes to form “The Plastics” complete with YouTube music video.
In the opening the Plastics as, “Are you one of the boring people who don’t want to be beautiful? Because everyone can be beautiful — when you’re made of plastic!”
From their, things only get worse before they get better as Toby’s costars, Kitty Jay and Venus D’lite, sing about the joys of plastic surgery via AutoTune enhancement. Kitty Jay reportedly spent money to look like her idol, Jennifer Lawrence, while Venus D’lite hopes to more closely resemble Madonna. Plastic surgeons also make appearances in the video, as do bad lyrics such as Wherever she goes, she doesn’t need a cushion / She has silicone in there.” “More cushion for the pushin’!” “*half-hearted whooping*”
After seeing the video, celebrity plastic surgeon Dr. Anthony Youn wrote on his blog, “You have to see this one to believe it. Three people who had plastic surgery to look like celebs teamed up with two plastic surgeons to make this new music video that has gone viral. It’s in-your-face, gaudy, and… well… you just have to see it to believe it. Their publicist, Gina Rodriguez, truly is a master at keeping her clients in the spotlight. Crazy stuff!”
For his part, Toby has undergone numerous plastic surgery procedures chin reduction and eyelid surgery, multiple hair transplants and face filler procedures.
A rundown of Toby’s procedures include:
An initial $8,000 on hair transplants
An additional three hair transplants to the tune of $21,000
Botox and fillers like Aquamid in his forehead, which he regularly reinjects
$5,000 on eyelid surgery to raise his upper lids
$30,000 on “smile surgery,” a three part procedure that is popular in Asia and gaining popularity in the States as well
He still has plans for a nose job and a jaw reduction procedure but seems to be making music instead.
In an interview, Toby revealed that despite his best efforts under the knife, he doesn’t consider himself to be a die-hard fan saying, ” ‘I didn’t necessarily listen to his music or fawn over him as a celebrity, but his face was just so flawless every change I made was modeled after him.”
Toby is one of many people who undergo plastic surgery with a celebrity as their inspiration, but he may be taking his transition the most literally.
For her part, Kitty Jay has also been featured in the news as someone who went under the knife in order to better resemble their celebrity idol.none
