  • Once considered one of Hollywood’s most handsome men, time has not been kind to actor/director/activist/etc Robert Redford. Although he once decried plastic surgery, some suspect that he may have had some surgical interference at some point over the years.

76-year old Robert Redford has expanded from his acting roots into building foundations and companies and doing quite a bit of directing on the side. One thing he does seem to shy away from these days is being in front of the camera, which could be because of his somewhat unkempt appearance, partially a result of plastic surgery.

Plastic surgeons suspect that Robert had an eyelift about 10 years ago, giving him a somewhat sunken in appearance around his eyes. He may have also gotten a facelift at some point and he may also use Botox and fillers.

Los Angeles plastic surgeon Marc Kayem told the Daily Mail, “It definitely looks like he’s had an eye-lift. It’s also clear that he’s had surgery to remove a mole from his right cheek.”

Years ago, when asked about plastic surgery, Robert said, “sick obsession’ with plastic surgery and said it left many stars looking “body-snatched.”

A publicist for the actor denied that the Sundance Kid had gone under the knife, saying, “Bob has been very public about the fact that he intends to grow old gracefully.”
