American television personality Star Jones, and co-host of the ABC weekday morning talk show The View, famously lost a lot of weight. To replace some of her lost curves, Star may have had breast augmentation that was less successful than her weight loss.
49-year old Star Jones famously lost a great deal of weight with the help of gastric bypass surgery. After tremendous weight loss, plastic surgery is often common to help tighten up lose skin, including tummy tuck and tummy tuck recovery. To help replace lost volume in the breasts, breast augmentation is also very common.
It looks as though Star has had breast augmentation, because after breast augmentation, the breasts are fuller and rounder. While Star’s breasts are full and round, they do not quite fit her frame, making the procedure more obvious than the television personality might have wanted.
Dr. David Shafer, celebrity plastic surgeon in New York City says, “Star Jones does appear to have had breast work based on the photos. I would also suspect bodywork after significant weight loss. However, it is hard to tell without seeing incisions.”
Miami plastic surgeon Dr. Michael Salzhauer says, “Star Jones does appear to have recently enhanced her breasts. She has much more cleavage and volume up top. It is common for women after having lost a significant amount of weight as she did, to undergo a breast enhancement procedure to restore some of the volume they subsequently lost in their breasts.”
Star is always stirring up controversy, whether she’s lying about weight loss surgery or voicing her opinion, making her fun to watch.
