Steven Tyler took time over the holidays to get engaged and also found time to go snorkeling. It looks like he may also need some time for plastic surgery to help look better in the rock-star tight Speedo he favors while on vacation.
63-year old Steven Tyler has long been a source of plastic surgery, with a somewhat feminine appearance that has led to rumors of plastic surgery including dermal injectables like Perlane or Radiesse injected into his face to soften some of his deeper wrinkles, and may even have had a facelift as well (See Make Me Heal’s story on Steven Tyler’s plastic surgery).
His shirtless Hawaii vacation revealed that he is getting a little saggy in the chest area, a result of weight loss and aging. For a minimal plastic surgery recovery, he could gain a little weight or use some laser liposuction, although getting rid of extra skin in the chest area may also help.
Dr. David Shafer, celebrity plastic surgeon in New York City says, “Laser liposuction will likely be the best bet for Steven to reduce his chest while avoiding any large scars.”
Miami plastic surgeon Dr. Michael Salzhauer says, “Steven Tyler has lost weight over the years, and combined with less elasticity in his skin he now has some hanging skin in his chest area. This can easily be fixed surgically by removing some excess skin around the areola, or non-surgically by gaining a little bit of weight to fill out the skin.”
Steven can certainly afford to spend a little time on himself with plastic surgery, as he is said to have given his intended an original design by Loree Rodkin comprised of a 5 carat brilliant cut diamond set on a micro pave diamond and platinum band. Makemeheal.com wishes the couple the best in the future.
