The official season has yet to begin and yet the producers of Dancing with the Stars have already made plenty of changes. So far, the show has dumped long time music director Harold Wheeler and the 28 members of his live band and even the super hot cohost Brooke Burke, in favor of former ESPN reporter Erin Andrews. Up next, the show has announced the new cast for Season 18 of the reality competition. Here’s a look at the list of celebrities and pseudo celebrities preparing to squeeze into spandex and sequins, with or without plastic surgery, for a chance at the mirror ball.
Real Housewives of Atlanta star NeNe Leakes — dancing with Tony Dovolani
Although NeNe Leakes recently denied going under the knife for plastic surgery, in the past she has admitted to having a nose job as well as breast augmentation, breast implant reduction, a breast lift and liposuction. If NeNe hasn’t gained weight since her last lipo surgery, she is sure to look fantastic, even at the beginning of the season.
Olympic figure skater Meryl Davis — dancing with Maksim Chmerkovskiy
Meryl Davis may be used to ice skating with Charlie White as her partner on ice, so it will be interesting to see the partners compete against each other for a change. Given that Meryl is used to staying fit and having a difficult fitness regimen, it seems unlikely that she will need any body contouring plastic surgery to fit into the sparkly costumes. Fans of Meryl suspect that she has had plastic surgery like Botox to improve her appearance, but most likely it is heavy makeup that changes her look from time to time.
Olympic figure skater Charlie White — dancing with Sharna Burgess
Charlie White most likely hasn’t had time to go under the knife during his busy life as an Olympic figure skater, with partner and competitor Meryl Davis.
Full House alum Candace Cameron Bure — dancing with Mark Ballas
Candace Cameron Bure has mostly shied away from the spotlight since her days as DJ Tanner on Full House. With the exception of writing a few books and making some controversial statements about her marriage and religion, Candace seems to have largely stayed out of Hollywood to focus on raising her family. Some suspect that Cameron has used the time for plastic surgery, but it seems more likely that she uses makeup to conceal any flaws—although a childhood nose job is not out of the question.
Price Is Right host Drew Carey — dancing with Cheryl Burke
Drew Carey famously lost close to 100 pounds before taking over on The Price is Right, leading to rumors that he had lost weight with the help of a plastic surgery such as liposuction. However, given his healthy new look, liposuction seemed unlikely as Drew looked slimmer all over, not just in problem areas.
Former hockey player Sean Avery — dancing with Karina Smirnoff
Sean Avery may have a reputation for looking good, but the former NHL star looks to be all natural, not touched by the surgical knife.
Big Time Rush singer James Maslow — dancing with Peta Murgatroyd
Singer James Maslow looks great and some suspect that he may have had a nose job early in his career, although it is hard to say without photos. His nose is very rounded at the tip and looks quite symmetrical, so it is a possibility.
World record long-distance swimmer Diana Nyad — dancing with Henry Byalikov
Swimmer Diana Nyad keeps busy in and out of the water, making it unlikely that she has found time for plastic surgery.
The Wonder Years alum Danica McKellar — dancing with Val Chmerkovskiy
Former child star Danica McKellar has been back in the public eye since her divorce a few years back, making appearances in Indie films and music videos. It is suspected that Danica may have gotten breast implants and Botox, but if she did, it is hard to tell because the results are so natural.
Actor Billy Dee Williams — dancing with Emma Slater
Billy Dee Williams is still recognizable as Lando Calrissian, but he looks to be aging naturally, without plastic surgery as fine lines are clearly visible on his forehead and between his brows, fitting a man of 76.
Australian pop singer Cody Simpson — dancing with Witney Carson
At only 17, it seems highly unlikely that pop star Cody Simpson has had plastic surgery. Although he may get facials or laser treatment to treat acne that is common at that age.
Double-amputee snowboarding champ Amy Purdy — dancing with Derek Hough
Given all the time Amy Purdy has spent under the knife as a double amputee, it seems highly unlikely that she has wanted to spend more time recovering from elective plastic surgery.
