Are Dancing With The Starts Finalists Dancing with Plastic Surgery?
November 26, 2009 in Celebrity Plastic Surgery by Ruby Marr | 2 Comments
Donny Osmond has the dubious honor of being named the winner of the past season of Dancing with the Stars. But Make Me Heal wants to know whether he and his fellow finalists would have qualified to be stars on the show without plastic surgery.
51-year old Donny Osmond still has the same boyish good looks that made him and his sister an international sensation. But is he following his sister Marie and dabbling in plastic surgery to retain his star status (See Make Me Heal’s story on Marie Osmond’s plastic surgery)?
In an interview with Lara Spencer of The Insider, Donny admitted to using dermal injectables. He said, “I tried Botox one time and I’ll never do it again. It just didn’t work. I just wanna age, as they say, gracefully.”
According to Paul S. Nassif, a Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon and Rhinoplasty Specialist in Beverly Hills, Calif.,”It does not appear Donny Osmond is using anything to halt the aging process. He does not have many lines on his face, and does not look like he is trying to rid himself on any either. He has a natural appearance and would not benefit from anything at this time.”
Manhattan plastic surgeon Dr David Shafer says, “From the photos, it is hard to tell what Donny Osmond has had done. He does have a Botox look and has nice skin. He may benefit from more Botox in the crow’s feet area.”
Botox looks like it worked for Donny, but what about his fellow finalists?
25-year old Kelly Osbourne may not be old enough to need Botox injections, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t plan to go under the knife in the future.
Kelly says, “I’m already planning my surgery. I just haven’t got anything saggy yet! My mom’s just had about everything you can have done, so I know the right and wrong way to do it.” (See Make Me Heal’s story on Sharon Osbourne’s plastic surgery).
Despite rumors of liposuction, it doesn’t seem that Kelly had any plastic surgery yet, saying she doesn’t want to look like everyone else. (See Make Me Heal’s story on Kelly Osbourne’s plastic surgery).
Dr Nassif says, “Kelly Osbourne is still very young and does not appear to have had any work done. It is hard to predict what she will have done, as that is strictly personal preference and based on what she feels she needs as she ages.”
She said, “Everyone in Los Angeles looks the same. I would rather be ugly than look the same as everyone else!”
Plastic surgeon Dr Sherrell Aston says, “I do not think that Ms. Osborne has had any surgery to date but I agree with her that her mother’s surgeries have turned out very well.”
Dr Shafer says, “It is not clear if Kelly Osborne has had any plastic surgery on her face. She would benefit from some neck liposuction to help better define her jawline and make sure face appear slimmer.”
It doesn’t look like finalist singer Mya has been to a plastic surgeon either. At 30 years old, Mya is on the cusp of undergoing plastic surgery procedures to help her stay looking 30, but so far it seems that good skincare is what keeps Mya in star shape.
Dr Aston says, “In my opinion Mya has not had any plastic surgery.”
According to Paul S. Nassif, a Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon and Rhinoplasty Specialist in Beverly Hills, Calif., “Mya has a very young face, and does not appear to have had any work done. It is hard to predict what she will have done, as that is strictly personal preference and based on what she feels she needs as she ages. She looks great, and would not benefit from anything at this time.”
Dr Shafer says, “Mya looks naturally great and does not look like she has had any invasive plastic surgery.”
This season’s competition was fierce and Make Me Heal congratulates Donny on taking home the famously tacky disco ball trophy.
