  • 67-year old legendary actress Faye Dunaway has been spotted out and about with some new additions to her face.

    Faye Dunaway, Plastic Surgery

With a career that spans over 40 years, Faye Dunaway has often spoken out against Hollywood’s ageism, but it appears that as she has felt the pressure, she has tried to reverse the aging process through plastic surgery, with mixed results.

Faye has likely had a facelift to help eliminate her sagging skin as well as give her the very tight appearance and pulled look she has had for the past few years. To help achieve her wrinkle-free lower face, she has likely used injectable fillers like Botox, Restylane or Juvederm to get rid of the nasolabial lines that stretch from the nose to the mouth. Moreover, the rejuvenated texture of her skin is the probable result of laser skin resurfacing, chemical peel, or some of the new lasers like Fraxel, Lumenis, Active Fx, or Cool Touch.

Wearing shades and a cap as Faye has been doing lately leads Make Me Heal to wonder if she is now busy working on her upper face and whether or not it is too swollen to be seen bare in public. Faye may have had a blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery) to get rid of sagging that comes with age and heavy under eye pockets of fat. Although bruising and healing only take a few days, Faye would want to cover any swelling that occurred during the procedure.

Most obviously, she has been getting lip injections on her top lip to achieve the “trout pout” that is so popular in Hollywood these days. Faye’s upper lip no longer has the dip in the middle that occurs on natural lips and is often the result of poorly placed lip fillers, including collagen, Restylane, Juvederm.

Faye’s former smile is famously crooked and yellow. But recently, the teeth have become whiter and straighter. Make Me Heal thinks Faye may have taken advantage of modern cosmetic dentistry including invisible braces like Invisalign and veneers to make her teeth open smile worthy.

Through all her nips and tucks, Faye Dunaway continues to look attractive and be in demand as an actress and Make Me Heal hopes to see her in the near future on the big screen, but not with unnaturally big lips which take away from her natural beauty.

Faye Dunaway didn’t have a gap between her front teeth. You are probably thinking of Lauren Hutton.

      Hi Zantimisfit,

We stand corrected and made the change.

Her features look so ethnic! Is she bi-racial?

“Her features look so ethnic! Is she bi-racial?”

I’ve wondered that about Faye Dunaway for years! She actually looks more like a three-way mixture to me– white, black and Native American (or possibly Asian). She classifies herself as “white”/Caucasian but her facial features/bone structure are certainly not typically Caucasian.

Though I agree she is unusual looking and has that amazing beauty people who are multiracial/ethnic have, but really what do you mean by “typically Caucasian”

Dunaway is of Da Hood but not from Da Hood.
Its just Da Hood comin’ to get ya!

I agree her features are not typical white features (straight). No offense, but ethnic people have rounder/wider features- her’s are exactly that. Her younger pictures show this better.

Check out the FD MySpace site. There she states she is Native American. Really no surprise to me.. of a truth…”It takes one to know one”…. she can’t fool her people. My peeps are from the Cheerokee tribe on bothsides mixed with African American and you can tell it. Originating from Alabama and S.Carolina.
Throughout the South there is a FULL Native American ethnic history..from the Carolinas on down to Florida.> and then migrating to the South West ( Oklahoma , Texas> out the West.
My guess FD is of the Seminole tribe that is found in Florida which is a mix of black, Spanish, and Indian blood. So it’s all there.
PS it is not offensive but rather an obvious fact through bone structure and features like eyes etc. when you can see there is a beautiful mix– because you can’t tell differences by human blood. We are the same at the Red Cross. But it’s living a lie to say your something else and deny your roots to get ahead.

I just have to say that if she is more then Caucasian then i feel she feels ashamed to admit that. I think multi race is a beauty because your mixed with more then one race. Some of the most beautiful men and women are multi racial. Or bi racial. Not saying Caucasians and african americans are not beautiful because they are as well but i think mixed races tend to stand out more because of the different features they can carry.

I also am mixed Cherokee, black & Irish. Recently saw FD in Chinatown and realized that she is obviously of mixed blood. Her demeanor also speaks of the first people, calm mysterious and deep. Johnny Depp is also part North American Indian. Think about it, see it, know it. North American!!!!
