The Golden Globes Nominees have been announced, which means a look at red carpet plastic surgery is just around the corner. Here’s a few of the top nominees and whether or not they’ve spent some time under the knife.
Steven Spielberg‘s historical drama Lincoln topped the list, with actor Daniel Day Lewis also getting a nom. Daniel Day Lewis appears to be as yet untouched by the knife, but he could use a small nose surgery to straighten out his crooked nose and little Botox to smooth out a few wrinkles.
Sally Field is also nominated, for her role as Lincoln’s wife. For Sally’s age, her neck line is remarkably youthful without the typical sagging skin and turkey neck that forms by this age. Additionally, Sally Field’s jawline is quite tight and has no excess droopy skin or loose muscles around the jaw. Furthermore, Sally’s eyes look unusually refreshed and open, and while there are some crow’s feet and some bags under the eyes, her top eyelid is not hanging over and neither lid is particularly heavy from any skin sagging. As a result, it is quite possible that Sally Field had some plastic surgery procedures done gradually throughout the years, including a facelift and a necklift, as well as maybe a blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery). It is also likely that Sally’s youthful skin complexion has been aided by laser skin treatments such as laser skin resurfacing, Fraxel, or Thermage and dermal injections like Botox, Restylane, and Juvderm. Overall, the results are natural and attractive and Sally Field does not have the “Overdone” Hollywood look.
Marion Cotillard was nominated for Rust and Bone but Make Me Heal suspects it is her use of French cosmetics and skincare products, rather than plastic surgery that keeps her looking fresh-faced.
Emily Blunt was nominated for Salmon Fishing in the Yemen. In the past, Emily’s rumored plastic surgery procedures include one or more minor nose jobs, lip augmentation as well as chin and cheek implants, giving Emily a wider face and more defined jaw line. In addition, Emily has gotten dental veneers.
Bradley Cooper was nominated for Silver Linings Playbook. While he probably won’t be getting Botox injections for his upcoming press tours, he could be using silicone scar sheets, scar reduction creams and gels and Kelo-cote products to heal the scars he suffered from a teenage incident.
