Heidi Montag has left The Hills of Hollywood for the suburban life of Santa Barbara. But every now and then she comes out of her quiet life as a housewife to rehash the plastic surgery procedures that launched her from minor reality star to tabloid sensation. After expressing regret for undergoing numerous plastic surgery procedures all at once, Heidi says that her new plan is to age gracefully—presumably the star means without any further surgical intervention.
Back in 2010 Heidi went under the knife for F-sized implants to replace her original implants as well as a nose job revision, chin reduction, mini brow lift, Botox in forehead and frown area, fat injections in cheeks, nasolabial folds and lips, neck liposuction, ears pinned back, liposuction on waist, hips and inner and outer thighs and buttock augmentation.
However, it looks like Heidi’s plastic surgery days are behind her. She tells Renee Bargh on Extra that she plans to grow old gracefully from now on.
In an interview with Renee Bargh on Extra, Montag says she is ready to begin aging naturally.
“I disliked myself so much I literally chopped up my own body,” she admitted. “I have [temporomandibular joint dysfunction] now and my jaw hurts. I don’t think people do tell you the trauma of what you’re going to heal from. I was in so much pain, I actually thought I was going to die.”
Apparently Heidi’s major pain is thought to stem from the procedure she had to reduce her jaw.
In 2013 Heidi once again went under the knife, this time to replace her super sized F-cup implants that weighed in at 3 pounds each and were beginning to slip through the muscle as well as cause neck and back pain with a smaller size.
“My implants were falling through,” she revealed. “They were three pounds each so I was really miserable. Obviously, I didn’t want to go back into surgery, but it was really necessary … I’m just done with all of it [now]. I’m going to age gracefully and bow out.”
In addition to being famous for major plastic surgery at a young age, Heidi is also well known for spending big money on not only her plastic surgery, but also her plastic surgery recovery and trying to live large. In the past, she and her husband, Spencer Pratt, have estimated that they blew through $10 million attempting to hold on to their 15 minutes of fame.
“A majority of it is gone. There’s agents, lawyers, managers, taxes, hair and makeup,” Heidi said.
“The private jets, the million dollar wardrobe,” Spencer added.
Nowadays, their life is very different.
“We just live really humble lives. I cook a lot, I clean our house all the time,” she said.
Nowadays, Heidi and Spencer only appear on celebrity tabloid shows to talk about their past woes. And their continued interest in reality television. In addition to shopping their own show, the couple has also appeared on celebrity competition shows.none
