  • Heidi Montag may be done with plastic surgery, but according to some plastic surgeons, she is lucky with the amount of work she had at once.

    Heidi Montag, Plastic Surgery

Last year, 23-year old Heidi Montag underwent a nose job revision, chin reduction, mini brow lift, botox  p://kona.kontera.com/javascript/lib/imgs/grey_loader.gifin forehead and frown area, fat injections in cheeks, nasolabial folds and lips, neck liposuction, ears pinned back, liposuction on waist, hips and inner and outer thighs, buttock augmentation and breast augmentation revision. In an interview, Dr. Robert Ray, aka Dr. 90210 says he feels that Heidi risked a lot by undergoing so many procedures at once.

He says, “I would never have done more than three or four.”

However, he doesn’t blame Heidi’s surgeon, Dr. Frank Ryan, saying “The issue of too many procedures in the operating room have [been debated] and forth, but he is a great surgeon — that’s not the issue.”

Admits Dr. Rey of Montag, 23, who is not legally allowed to get any more surgeries, “What she does is her decision. That’s the beauty of America. It’s a free country.”

Miami plastic surgeon Dr. Michael Salzhauer tells Makemeheal.com, “A great benefit of cosmetic surgery is that when you enhance or correct one area, you’d be surprised how it improves the appearance of other areas.  For instance, enlarging your breasts can have the effect of making your waist seem smaller.  Or refining your nose can enhance the whole look of your face; therefore, eliminating the need for even more cosmetic surgeries. I think 2-3 procedures performed at once is smart and effective.  You have one surgery and one recovery period. Performing more than that at once may be too much both medically and esthetically.”

Dr. Paul A. Nassif, a Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon and Rhinoplasty Specialist in Beverly Hills, California says, “The amount of procedures Heidi Montag had performed is strictly a personal preference.  10 procedures at once is a significant amount. Under the right care, risks can be minimized. But risks are still present during any surgical procedure, and will increase the longer you are under general anesthesia.”

Heidi is looking more like a Barbie doll than ever before, but maybe that’s what she wanted.
