It probably isn’t overstating things to say that former Playboy Playmate Holly Madison owes much of her career to plastic surgery. After she left the arms of Playboy founder Hugh Hefner, Holly eventually found love with Pasqualle Rotella and the couple now has a daughter, controversially named Rainbow Aurora. While Holly says she is happy with the results of her plastic surgery, she doesn’t necessarily want Rainbow to grow up and follow in her surgically enhanced footsteps.
Holly Madison has said in the past that she wasn’t born beautiful and hanging around the lovely ladies of the Playboy mansion made her feel insecure enough to go under the knife for a breast augmentation and nose job. While Holly has said that she has only had the two procedures done, others think that her plastic surgery transformation was a little more extensive and also included everything from a forehead lift to lip augmentation. Whatever the case may be, Holly apparently hopes that Rainbow doesn’t inherit her mother’s insecurities about her appearance and stays away from plastic surgery.
“I certainly wouldn’t let Rainbow get plastic surgery until she is an adult and it’s out of my hands,” Holly tells Celebrity Baby Scoop via WetPaint, quickly adding, “ I hope she doesn’t feel the need to.”
Right now, Rainbow is less than a year old and a tiny bundle of joy with a perfect little nose to compliment her perfectly chubby cheeks and full lips.
Holly goes on to say that while she doesn’t regret her own two plastic surgery procedures, she probably won’t be getting any more work done in the future as she isn’t a fan of ” the frozen face duck lip look you see on women these days.”
Even if Holly doesn’t opt for Botox to freeze the lines that develop in her forehead or plump her lips excessively with Restylane or Juvederm, she may eventually find a need for more plastic surgery, even a breast augmentation revision to correct future sagging of her large implants as gravity begins to take a toll.
And while plastic surgery seems to run in families as those it were a hereditary condition (examples range from Candy and Tori Spelling to the extended clan of the Kardashian/Jenners), Holly says she isn’t worried about Rainbow turning out to be like her mom and having cosmetic surgery performed.
“I bet Rainbow will be semi embarrassed of me and want to be totally different. Isn’t that how it works with teenagers [laughs]?”
It’s hard to imagine being embarrassed by having a beautiful mother, but maybe Holly will teach her daughter other tricks of the beauty trade. Daily use of sunscreen, even on cloudy days, can go a long way in not only preventing skin cancer, but also signs of aging including fine lines and wrinkles. Carefully applied makeup can do everything from help appear to slim a wide nose to hide flaws to make eyes sparkle and using the right products can help treat conditions from acne to aging.none
