Daphne Guinness, beer heiress, recently made headlines when she announced at a photo shoot, “I’ll eat when I’m dead.” Not eating often causes deep lines in the severely thin, but Daphne’s facial skin still looks full and healthy, which could be a sign of some plastic surgery.
43-year old Daphne Guinness has served as fashion inspiration for the likes of Lady Gaga. The famous heiress remains slim to fit into couture clothing, living on Ensure drinks and Red Bull.
Despite her thin frame which perfectly complements her lavish wardrobe, Daphne’s skin remains smooth and unlined, likely the result of Botox injections and possible fillers like Restylane and Juvederm, which need little plastic surgery recovery time.
Dr. David Shafer, celebrity plastic surgeon in New York City says, ”Daphne seems to have smooth Botox look as well as possible fillers which are helping smooth her face. However, she may just be blessed with strong facial features.”
Miami plastic surgeon Dr. Michael Salzhauer says, “Daphne Guinness is indeed extremely thin. Normally at that level of emaciation, it would be expected to see a very gaunt-looking face; however, her face still appears smooth and with adequate volume. She probably uses a dermal filler such as Sculptra which is specifically used to fill in lost volume to larger areas of the face.”
Daphne’s diet sounds very unhealthy, but her dedication to the art of couture is most admirable, as is her collection of designer clothing.
