Actress Gail O’Grady has been acting for years but got the public’s attention with her Emmy-winning role on NYPD Blue. Since then Gail has had various starring roles on everything from Lifetime original movies to primetime dramas. Currently she’s starring on Revenge as Conrad Grayson’s first wife on the ABC primetime soap opera, Revenge. In the years between NYPD Blue and Revenge, Gail looks to have been keeping busy, with six marriages and also some plastic surgery.
51-year old Gail O’Grady looks every bit the socialite she plays on the primetime soap, Revenge, thanks to some real life plastic surgery. Although Gail has always been stunning, these days she is looking a little different and Makemeheal.com suspects it is because the pretty blonde has turned to plastic surgery in order to maintain her appearance, but may have overdone it a little in the process.
People magazine once named Gail as amongst the 50 Most Beautiful People in the World and it is easy to see how they came to that conclusion. Although she is still very attractive, Gail looks a little overdone these days.
In the past, one of Gail’s most prominent features were her high cheekbones. Aging can often cause cheekbones to sag a little and also create a hollowness in the cheeks. Gail looks as though she is combating these subtle signs of aging with a filler such as Juvederm or Sculptra to boost her cheeks, but in the process she has filled out the hollows so that her face now appears somewhat full and puffy.
In many shots on the show, Gail has a very shiny sheen on her forehead, an indication that she has been using Botox to eliminate wrinkles in that area, as well as in the crevices between her brows.
Not only does Gail have a smooth forehead and full cheeks, but she also has rather plump and distinctive lips, indicating that she is also using some sort of filler there. While lips tend to thin and become less prominent with age, Gail’s lips don’t have that “ducky” look yet, but they will if she’s not careful because her lip line is already too distinct to be completely natural.
At some point, Gail may also have had slight nose surgery because although her nose has been small and perfect throughout her career, in recent years it looks as though it has become more upturned and less rounded at the tip. It could also be a second nose surgery as many actors have nose jobs at a young age or as teens.
In her new role, Gail goes up against her nemesis, Victoria Grayson, played by Madeleine Stowe. Although Madeleine has a very prominent forehead, she has said that she is aging naturally, without Botox.
My mother told me: ‘Stay out of the sun and don’t wrinkle your forehead.’ She used to scream when I made that expression that crinkles it,” Stowe tells the mag (as reported by People via E!Online). “Now everyone thinks I’ve had Botox, and I have to make that face to prove I haven’t.”none
