  • Despite rocking out for her entire adult life, Stevie Nicks is looking better than ever and apparently plastic surgery doesn’t play a role.

At 65, Stevie Nicks is stilling touring the world. And despite facing addiction problems, Stevie is looking better than ever. After years being addicted to cocaine, (fellow bandmate Mick Fleetwood reportedly spent $8 million on the substance over the years), Stevie eventually weaned herself from the illegal drug with the prescription drug clonazepam, which she then became addicted to and also caused her to gain weight.

During Stevie’s heavy period, which lasted for several years, tabloids mocked the petite rockstar. Then, when she dropped the pounds, speculation began that she had used some form of weight loss surgery.

According to Stevie, she lost the weight by getting off the prescription drug and now she is loving life. It does seem unlikely that Stevie would turn to weight loss plastic surgery to lose weight as she already looks good, just by staying clean.

In the past, Stevie has admitted to using Botox and greatly disliking the results.

When asked about Botox use by The Telegraph, Stevie says, “Oh my God, it’s getting worse!”

“Botox makes everybody look like Satan’s children. You’d have to tie me down to get me to do it again.”

“Now we’re getting used to seeing people with eyebrows that start up here,” she told the reported, pointing to her hairline with still flowing blonde locks.

It isn’t the first time Stevie has spoken out about Botox. In an interview last year, she admitted to trying it and hating her appearance for months afterwards.

“I had Botox and I hated it. For four long months, I looked like a different person. It almost brought down the whole production of the last tour. It was so bad, I would look into the mirror and burst into tears. Botox is becoming the new face of beauty and it’s unfortunate. Everybody has pointed eyebrows. Everybody looks related. All the Desperate Housewives look like sisters. If you’re an unattractive girl who’s trying to be beautiful with Botox, forget it. If you are a beautiful girl who’s trying to be beautiful with Botox, you will look like you’re angry all the time. You’d have to tie me down to get me to do it again.”

On his blog at the time of the interview, plastic surgeon Dr. Anthony Youn had some advice for Stevie, writing, “Overall I think Stevie is being a bit too harsh. I don’t think that Eva Longoria looks like Marcia Cross’s sister!”

“In certain cases when people with arched brows have Botox, it can give them an overarched “Botox Brow.” This can easily be treated by injecting a few more units above the eyebrow region. Most patients can also avoid this look by injecting less than the usually recommended 17-20 units in the forehead.”

So how does Stevie keep herself looking so well? The singer/songwriter says that she has been avoiding the sun since she was 28, hasn’t had a facelift and the only plastic surgery she has had was a nose job to repair damage caused by her heavy cocaine use.
