Apparently even best friends can disagree. Former Friends stars Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox appear to be on very different sides of the Botox: good or bad battle currently waging in Hollywood. While Courteney has come out as an adamant support, Jennifer calls the wrinkle eliminator “terrible.”
44-year old Jennifer Aniston is well known for her stunning body and amazing looks, although she objects to people telling her she looks good “for her age.” Still, she recently admitted to People magazine that she’s put on a few pounds thanks to the pastas that her fiancé, Justin Theroux, cooks.
“The last couple of years since meeting this man have made me gain a couple extra pounds. But it’s all worth it.”
Jennifer was also asked whether she would prefer Botox or wrinkles, to which she responded, “Wrinkles.”
“Nobody wants wrinkles, but Botox looks terrible,” she said.
On the other side of the coin, BFF Courteney Cox has professed her love of Botox, although most fans seem to feel that she has had too much of a good thing in recent years and is beginning to resemble a Batman villain overmuch. On occasion, Courteney has also been seen to blink oddly, which can be a consequence of Botox use.
Still, Courteney has continued her love affair with Botox and is so afraid of showing signs of aging that she has actually had not only Botox and laser treatments on her face, but also on her hands and even plans to wear gloves to fight sun damage.
“Yeah, it’s a giveaway. Elbows, hands and necks… Those little fingerless gloves, I’m going to wear them in the summer.”
On the other hand, Jennifer has also said that she is obsessed with laser treatments but otherwise focuses on a natural regimen to stay youthful looking. Jennifer is an advocate of very healthy eating and drinking plenty of water, which is probably why she got involved with the Smart Water campaign.
Now, Jennifer has become the celebrity face of Aveeno skincare products, explaining to E! News, “I always like to read labels so I know what’s going into our food and what’s going into our bodies. I thought it was really fun to see what’s going into our skin.”
In addition to using quality skincare products, eating right (except for the occasional pasta) and getting laser treatments, Jennifer also is focused on fitness, exercising and working out regularly. However, she says that her focus on exercise isn’t about being able to fit into her favorite purple bikini year after year, but about overall health.
“It’s not about bikini season,” she told People magazine about her fitness routine. “It’s about being healthy. Of course we want to have toned skin and legs and muscles and all that, but it’s really just about feeling great.”
Jennifer looks to be doing very well even without the use of Botox and she looks great for a woman of any age, not just one that has passed 40.none
