The National Enquirer is reporting that Kanye West wants his girlfriend’s mom, Kris Jenner to stop going under the knife.

Kanye West understandably isn’t a big fan of plastic surgery. His mother, Donda West, famously died at age 58, just a day after undergoing a tummy tuck, breast reduction and lipo­suction (See Make Me Heal’s story on Donda West’s plastic surgery).

Now that he is dating Kim Kardashian, whose mother is Kris Jenner, he is reportedly asking her to stop getting plastic surgery.

The Enquirer quotes a source as saying, Kanye’s gotten very close to Kris. She’s become like a second mom to him, and he couldn’t bear losing another person in his life to plastic surgery.”

On his blog, OcBody plastic surgeon Dr. John Di Saia says, ” OK, I’ll admit it; it’s a cute story. I am not sure I believe it though.”

“Kris Jenner has had her share of plastic surgery by appearances and it could be argued that more might have the risk of making her look more foreign (like the overdone lip injection we see in the story.) But death from well-planned cosmetic plastic surgery is pretty rare.”

“Maybe Kayne doesn’t remember the reports that his mother had surgery without a proper work-up of her cardiac risk. One Beverly Hills plastic surgeon by report requested a medical clearance which she declined. It appears that poorly planned plastic surgery led to her unfortunate demise. There is no evidence that Kris Jenner is going down that path.”

“Then again this could just be a story staged for publicity. The Kardashian’s are very good at that. ”

Instead of plastic surgery, Kris could try going a little more natural and use a fancy skincare product to help her look better than some of her daughters.
