  • Singer Peter Andre may have been married to plastic surgery queen Katie Price, but that doesn’t mean he wants their daughter, Princess Tiaamii, to follow in her mother’s cosmetic surgery footsteps.

In2Town reports that 37-year old Peter Andre does not want 3-year old Princess Tiaamii have plastic surgery like his ex wife or to have a breast augmentation, like the numerous ones that made his ex-wife Katie Price famous (See Make Me Heal’s story on Jordan’s plastic surgery).

The In2Town report continues, “ The singer has said that he is worried that his daughter might want cosmetic surgery when she is old enough and has said that he will do everything he can to make sure that she does not go down that route.”

“Peter Andre said he would make his daughter understand how he feels about certain things when she is old enough to understand to make sure that she does not have cosmetic surgery and leads a normal life.”

Dr. Paul S. Nassif, a Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon and Rhinoplasty Specialist in Beverly Hills, California says, “It is difficult to determine how common it is for parents to persuade their children to refrain form having any plastic surgery performed. Having plastic surgery is a personal preference, and as long an individual meets certain age criteria for a given procedure, the decision is up to them. ”

Miami plastic surgeon Dr. Michael Salzhauer says, “It is common that any parent will see their child as perfect and beautiful.  It’s similar to how some spouses act to their wife getting a Breast Augmentation or Rhinoplasty.  It’s part of unconditional love that they love them just the way they are.  If Katie Price’s husband sees that his child, as a young adult or older, becomes extremely self conscious about a physical feature that is causing them to be unhappy and affecting them emotionally he may view cosmetic surgery differently.”

Makemeheal.com wants to remind readers that too much plastic surgery isn’t good, but a little, done correctly can help enhance a normal life, not take away.
