Like many pop stars, Katy Perry likes to play with her look. From crazy hair colors to over the top clothes, Katy looks different just about every time she is photographed. Still, despite frequent rumors of plastic surgery popping up in between news of what she’s up to with John Meyer, Katy says that she’s never spent time on plastic surgery.
29-year old Katy Perry has started sharing a lot of private information with the press over the years, from letting it be known that her ex-husband asked for a divorce via text message to how she feels about her Christian parents. So it’s not that big of a surprise that in a new interview with GQ, Katy dished on both her breasts and the loss of her virginity.
Since beginning her career as a singer on the Christian music singer, Katy has transformed from a typical California blonde to an exotic brunette—or sometimes something a little more punky and purple. While she has maintained that her transformation is just growing up and getting a dye job, many have thought that her new look also included some plastic surgery, including breast augmentation, lip fillers and even Botox. Some have even suspected a nose job.
However, according to Katy, her famously amazing and large breasts came as a result of her childhood prayers, not plastic surgery.
She tells the men’s magazine, “I lay on my back one night and looked down at my feet, and I prayed to God. I said, ‘God, will you please let me have boobs so big that I can’t see my feet when I’m lying down?’” And at the young age of 11, her prayers began to be answered, “God answered my prayers,” she said. “I had no clue they would fall into my armpits eventually.”
In addition to having natural breasts, she claims that her beautiful is also natural as well, “I’ve never had any plastic surgery,” she reveals. “Not a nose, not a chin, not a cheek, not a tit. So my messages of self-empowerment are truly coming from an au natural product.”
While Katy may feel that self-empowerment comes from being a natural beauty, some women who do opt to go under the knife feel otherwise. Many women seek plastic surgery so that they will feel more confident during swimsuit season or less goofy looking in family photos.
Thus far, Katy seems to be relying on youth to retain her natural beauty and feelings of looking good. As she begins to show signs of aging, she may change her mind and opt for a few fixes here and there. Growing up in Southern California’s beach town of Santa Barbara, Katy may eventually show signs of sun damage which can be treated with chemical peels or laser devices and prevented by daily sunscreen use, which she probably already does. Katy’s naturally full breasts may one day fall lower than she wants, so a breast lift could help put them back where they started.none
