Lately Keanu Reeves more like a bum than Hollywood’s leading man. However his bushy beard could be covering up some plastic surgery.
Recently dubbed “sad Keanu” by the media, 46-year old Keanu Reeves has long been debated as to whether or not he’s a great actor. More recently, it has been debated as to whether or not his very scruffy beard is hiding plastic surgery.
Despite being past middle age, Keanu shows few signs of aging, having a smooth, wrinkle free forehead and minimal crow’s feet. His constant exposure to the elements, being frequently photographed outside, indicates that he either diligently uses sunscreen, or goes for routine Botox injections, while the lower half of his face seems to be protected by a heavy scruffy beard.
Miami plastic surgeon Dr. Michael Salzhauer says, “Keanu Reeves has a very smooth forehead most likely from Botox. His complexion is very smooth looking as well most likely from chemical peel treatments. His beard is hiding his lower face which may be protecting his skin from sun and other environmental damage.”
Dr. Paul S. Nassif, a Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon and Rhinoplasty Specialist in Beverly Hills, California says, “ Keanu Reeves does not appear to have any surgery performed to his face. There is a possibility of Botox, but that is all. His look is natural, and he would not benefit from an work at this time.”
Keanu’s next role is in the indie film Henry’s Crime.
