Kim Novak isn’t a name that is easily recognized these days. Still, she remains forever memorable as one of director Alfred Hitchcock’s iconic blondes. These days, Kim isn’t doing much acting, but she still stays in touch with Hollywood, via new movies and plastic surgery.
78-year old Kim Novak recently made headlines when she criticized the makers of the Oscar-nominated film The Artist for using music from one of the most famous films she starred in, Vertigo.
Via an ad in a trade publication, Kim compared the use of the music to rape, saying, “I want to report a rape. I feel as if my body — or, at least my body of work — has been violated by the movie, The Artist.”
Most people disagree with the venerable star, including the film’s makers who paid homage to numerous Hollywood composers with The Artist’s soundtrack. With all the controversy, Makemeheal.com couldn’t help but notice that Kim looks unusually good for her age, if a little too good, a likely indication that plastic surgery is at play.
Kim most likely has had plastic surgery slowly over time, resulting in more natural results. She has probably had facelift as well as a neck lift and browlift to retain her signature arched brows, as well as an eyelid lift. Earlier in her career she may have had a nose job. Her time off screen would give Kim plenty of time for plastic surgery recovery after the procedures.
Miami plastic surgeon Dr. Michael Salzhauer says, “Kim Novak appears to have had several facial cosmetic procedures such as face, neck and brow lifts as well as a nose job (Rhinoplasty) and an eyelid lift (Blepharoplasty). She looks good and not overdone. A more rejuvenated version of herself.”
Kim looks great, should she decide to return to the silver screen after many years.
