  • Kris Jenner Sued for Facelift

September 19, 2011 in Celebrity Plastic Surgery by Carrie Zender | 1 Comment

Mother of all media (and the Kardashian clan), Kris Jenner is reportedly being sued by a cosmetics company for getting a facelift rather than using their skincare cream.

55-year old Kris Jenner famously underwent a facelift (See Make Me Heal’s story on Kris Jenner’s facelift) earlier this year in preparation for her daughter Kim’s wedding this summer. It turns out that a skincare company feels that Kris breached her contract by getting plastic surgery and undergoing plastic surgery recovery rather than using their skincare product.

According to TMZ, ” Kris Jenner says the cosmetics company she endorses has NO RIGHT to sue her for getting plastic surgery back in June … because the procedure didn’t affect her face … it just tightened up some loose neck skin. ”

“The company in question — called B&P — sued Jenner earlier this week, claiming she breached a contract to endorse a line of their anti-aging skin care products … when the famous mother publicly admitted to getting a facelift.”

“By doing so, B&P alleges, Jenner violated her agreement not to harm the reputation of the company and the product she’s endorsing — an eye care line called “Beautiful Eyes in a Bag.”

“But sources close to the Kardashian Klan tell TMZ, Kris is adamant … the lawsuit is BOGUS — because Kris’ facelift didn’t affect her eyes in any way whatsoever … JUST HER NECK.”

Kris’ facelift may have helped with her deeper wrinkles, but it doesn’t preclude her from needing further anti-aging treatments.

Dr. David Shafer, celebrity plastic surgeon in New York City says, “A facelift improves the contour of the face and the looseness of the skin.  Other treatments such as laser resurfacing or chemical peels can help with the texture of your skin.  So, just as liposuction does not prevent you from gaining weight, facelift surgery does not prevent you from aging.  Both procedures make significant improvement but do require continued maintenance.”

Miami plastic surgeon Dr. Michael Salzhauer says, “ There are no plastic surgeries that can stop the aging process, so there is always a need to take care of your skin.  What a facelift does is just set your “aesthetic clock” back about 10 years.  It is up to you then to maintain that youthful look and try to make it last as long as possible.”

Makemeheal.com looks forward to seeing how the lawsuit turns out.

These people. All they care about is their physical appearance. Idiots. No matter how good they look outside, they still suck inside.
