Gossip Girl has successfully won a lawsuit against her mother, where she said that her mother used funds for her own plastic surgery, rather than what they were intended for.
26-year old Leighton Meester sued her mother, Constance Meester, after finding out that her mother had used funds for plastic surgery instead of on medical bills for Leighton’s brother (See Make Me Heal’s story on Leighton Meester’s lawsuit).
Constance claimed that Leighton had promised to give her $10,000 a month for life, but Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Gregory Alacron ruled that there was no valid or enforceable agreement requiring Leighton to pay her mom any amount of money.
Dr. Jonathan Hall is one of the top plastic surgeons in Boston, who is know for his natural appearing results, says, “It is always bad to steal. Maybe okay if a starving man snatches a loaf of bread. But to steal money from your daughter that was sent to help your son…just bad. But nothing is wrong with plastic surgery or hair extensions if it makes someone feel better and improves their quality of life. Just don’t steal for it.”
Makemeheal.com congratulates Leighton on her success in court.
