At 55, Lesley-Anne Down is a soap opera veteran. But fans have noticed changes in the star’s appearance over the years, leading Make Me Heal to wonder if plastic surgery is part of the daytime drama.
Lesley-Anne Down looks very tight in all regions of her face, indicating a possible facelift. The procedure may have been done some years ago, but she is maintaining her pulled look by using Botox and fillers to augment the procedure. She has also likely had eye procedures, including a blepharoplasty to help with the sagging eyelids that come with age. In addition, she may also use fillers in her lips and cheeks to keep them looking full and youthful.
Dr. Paul S. Nassif, Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon at Spalding Drive Cosmetic Surgery says, “Lesley-Anne unfortunately is not immune to the signs of aging all women face. Looks like she’s had her share of botox and injectibles to contour her face. But the most dramatic changes to her youthful look are likely from a browlift, upper and lower blepharoplasty (eyelift), and facelift.”
Plastic surgeon Dr Sherrell J Aston says, “In my opinion Ms. Down appears to have had some plastic surgery. I believe she has had a Facelift; Blepharoplasty and possibly a Brow Lift in addition to injectables like Botox and Restylane. I think she looks a little taut but other than that very good for her age. I wish her all the best with her future projects.”
As a veteran actress, it is part of Lesley-Anne’s job description to stay good-looking, something she evidently takes very seriously.
New York plastic surgeon Dr David Shafer says, “Lesley-Anne Down has remained beautiful through the years. She appears she may have Botox on board and well as fillers in the cheeks and lips. There is a possibility that she has had more invasive procedures such as blepharoplasty, but it is hard to tell for sure from the pictures.”
Lesley-Anne’s procedures are numerous, but not nearly as complicated as the plotlines of a soap opera.
