British pop singer Lily Allen has a family history in music and may have a personal obsession with her looks, leading the stylish young woman to consider plastic surgery, Makemeheal.com has discovered.
24-year old Lily Allen has said she has body dysmorphic disorder and has suffered from eating disorders anorexia and bulimia. Most recently Lily has been said to be considering plastic surgery to lose weight and transform her body.
Lily has reportedly posted on her blog that felt “fat, ugly and grotesque” and was considering liposuction and stomach stapling. Shortly thereafter, the British fashion icon was spotted visiting a plastic surgeon’s office in Los Angeles and speculation began of liposuction, Botox injections and breast implants.
Board certified Manhattan plastic surgeon Dr. David Shafer says, “Lily Allen does not appear to have had any invasive plastic surgery. She could always use some liposuction on her thighs – but, so could most people.”
On the other hand, Lily may want to reconsider plastic surgery.
Dr. Paul S. Nassif, a facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon and a rhinoplasty specialist in Beverly Hills, California, says, “Whether or not an individual should have plastic surgery for cosmetic reasons is strictly a personal preference. If Lily Allen feels that having work done would be beneficial to her and make her feel better, then she should do so. She is beautiful no matter what, and if she is comfortable in her own skin, she should not have any surgery. “
It appears that Lily has since reconsidered having plastic surgery, as soon after she blogged “shan’t be getting any surgery, instead I will be eating lots of bread and pasta.”
Whatever decision Lily ultimately makes about going under the knife, Make Me Heal hopes it isn’t too over the top.
