  • Liv Tyler, Plastic SurgeryActress Liv Tyler has had a change of heart about having plastic surgery and is now considering going under the knife in the future to extend her career and restore her pre-motherhood figure. Liv Tyler, 29, previously slammed plastic surgery, calling people’s faces who had plastic surgery “creepy”.

Only two years ago, the “Lord of The Rings” star said “I don’t want to ever have cosmetic surgery, so I want to do the best I can with what I have. I hate that look where people’s faces have just changed. It’s so creepy”.

Now that Liv Tyler is about to celebrate her 30th birthday on July 1, she is coming to terms with the facts of life and the need to look young in Hollywood to maintain her career. So it comes with no surprise that she embraces the positive benefits of plastic surgery.

“I have to make a living,” she says. “I guess I could sell my house and go live a really simple life in a trailer somewhere.”

Tyler also admits that following the birth of her child Milo in December 2004, she noticed that some undesirable body changes that took place could not be fixed with just exercise and will require going under the knife.

“I’m definitely going to have some (plastic surgery), I’m sure,” the actress says. “Especially when you see what happens to your body after you have a baby.”

“I was trying to get back into shape, so I went to the gym every day, sometimes twice a day.”

In light of Liv Tyler’s new position on plastic surgery, one would not be surprised to see the actress having a breast augmentation and a breast lift, as well as a tummy tuck. Following childbirth, women often have to contend with having a loose abdominal muscle wall, as muscles that have been distended and stretched out during pregnancy may not retract to their previous position and become firm as they were prior to birth. This creates an appearance of a distended tummy, even if the woman does not actually have any fat on her stomach. As women who have this problem cannot address it with simple exercise, a tummy tuck is often an effective solution. Additionally, some women who give birth lose breast volume that is not restored and to experience sagging, leading some patients to have a breast augmentation and a breast lift to perk up the breasts.

Being that Liv Tyler had small breasts to begin with, it is possible that fans may see her with more perky and voluminous breasts in the future. Finally, some women who give birth may have a hard time losing some of the weight they accumulated and can undergo liposuction to get rid of stubbon fat deposits or some of the new minimum downtime liposuction procedures such as SmartLipo.

Liv Tyler now has a flawless face with no wrinkles on her forehead, no nasolabial folds (laugh lines), and has only but a slight appearance of lines below her eyes. Once the signs of aging appear on Tyler’s face over the next few years, she may become a candidate for injection fillers such as Botox or Restylane to erase fine lines wrinkles, and skin treatments to rejuvenate her skin such as a chemical peel, laser skin resurfacing, or other non-invasive laser procedures.

Tyler has been the subject of a rumor that her trademark lips may have been assisted by collagen or another lip filler. This rumor appears to be false, as her lips are the product of good genes and may also have been inherited from her rock star father Steven Tyler. Additionally, Tyler’s perfectly chiseled nose may sound the alert on a nose job done in her late teens.
