Country Music Hall of Fame Member Loretta Lynn recently announced she is cancelling tour dates because she needs knee surgery. Makemeheal.com has been around long enough to know that celebrities often substitute one procedure for elective cosmetic surgery when talking to the press.
76-year old Loretta Lynn recently returned to live performances at The Grand Ole Opry, before cancelling shows elsewhere due to heat exhaustion. Now the country music icon has announced she is cancelling shows at her ranch because of necessary knee surgery and recovery time.
Loretta says in a statement she’s “sad” to cancel the shows, “but they tell me I’ve just got to stay off this knee for a while.”
In the past, Loretta has been suspected of having a facelift and some fans think that knee surgery may be excuse for another facelift and plastic surgery recovery time. However, given her age elective surgery like a facelift should be considered especially carefully.
Miami plastic surgeon Dr. Michael Salzhauer says, “Loretta Lynn is 76 years old and it is important for anyone, of any age, to be in optimal health before considering to have any elective surgery. A facelift will tighten up her skin and get rid of many wrinkles, but ultimately it will be up to her medical doctor to decide whether she is a candidate for another facelift surgery or not.”
Plastic surgery or knee surgery, Makemeheal.com wishes Loretta a speedy recovery and return to the stage.
