Actress Marg Helgenberger isn’t the most remarkable actress. But she is remarkable for looking better than women half her age. Make Me Heal investigates whether or not Marg has been using plastic surgery to maintain her looks.
At age 50, many women have begun to show signs of wear and tear. But Marg doesn’t show any signs of aging on her face, neck or décolletage, indicating plastic surgery is likely at play.
If Marg has had plastic surgery, as Make Me Heal suspects, she has likely had a facelift, browlift, eyelid surgery as well as used fillers, like Restylane or Juvederm, in her lips and cheeks and some Botox injections.
New York plastic surgeon Dr. David Shafer says, “Marg Helgenberger appears like she has Botox in the medial forehead and not enough laterally – this leaves her with dynamic wrinkles above her lateral brow. Additionally, in some shots, it appears that she has had facelift. Her skin looks tight and cheeks fuller with a slight disconnect with the appearance of her forehead. This is all speculation, since I don’t see any incisions in the photos. However, in most shots, she has her hair covering the sides of her face.”
Marg’s youthful hairstyle certainly helps her stay looking young, and it while it may be hiding facelift scars, Marg’s may have also had some eyework done, to keep her peepers looking fresh.
Plastic surgeon Dr. Sherrell J Aston says, “Ms. Helgenberger is a very beautiful woman with distinctive features. I suspect that she has had some plastic surgery to maintain her looks over the years. Based on photographs I estimate she has had lip injections, a Brow lift and also a Blepharoplasty to enhance her eye contours. She also appears to have had Botox too.”
Fans may also notice the fullness of Marg’s cheeks. While cheekbones don’t actually fall, the fat often does sag with age, but Marg may be replacing her lost youth with fillers or fat grafts.
Dr. Paul S. Nassif, Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon at Spalding Drive Cosmetic Surgery says, “Marg has had Botox to her forehead and frown lines in between her eyebrows. She’s also managed to maintain the fullness in her cheeks, which often sag as women age. This is likely from injectibles or fat grafting. If you look closely, you’ll see that she still has crow’s feet, which is often a celebrity request when trying to look au naturel!”
Make Me Heal congratulates Marg on her well-done plastic surgery and looks forward to seeing the blonde beauty in her next role.
