In a recent interview, actress Michelle Pfeiffer admits what Makemeheal.com has suspected for sometime: she is okay with plastic surgery.
While many actresses have recently said that they don’t like the results of plastic surgery, 53-year old Michelle Pfeiffer has said she’s all for plastic surgery.
“I’m all for a little here and there — fine. It doesn’t matter to me if people have plastic surgery or they don’t, or if they do Botox,” she told Elle magazine. “But when people don’t look themselves anymore, that’s when you go, ‘Oooh,’ and it’s kind of sad. It’s uncomfortable for us but if they’re happy with what they see in the mirror, does it matter?”
Being “all for plastic surgery” makes sense for Michelle, as the actress is rumored to have had her fair share of it, from a nose job in the early days of her career to dermal fillers such as Botox and Restylane injections that enhance her wrinkle-free forehead and lack of facial lines (Read Make Me Heal’s story on Michelle Pfeiffer’s plastic surgery).
Miami plastic surgeon Dr. Michael Salzhauer says, “I agree with Michelle Pfeiffer‘s attitude on plastic surgery. Plastic surgery should enhance your look, not change it completely. And she appears to have practiced just that with a nose job and some Botox. She looks beautiful and not overdone.”
In addition, it has long been suspected that Michelle has had cheek augmentation and more recently may have had had a blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery), given the lack of excess fat or skin hanging over her eyes.
Michelle has been taking time off for a while (for plastic surgery recovery?), but she’s headed back into the spotlight as part of the star studded cast of “New Year’s Eve” due out in December.
