As Elizabeth Hurley prepares for her 42nd birthday this year, there is one question everyone is wondering, especially after her recent wedding with husband Arun Nayar. And no, of course it is not about her latest bikini or skin care product. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to guess that it is about plastic surgery. Has she had anything done? She said: “No, but I think I am ready for it.” Seriously? “I haven’t had anything done yet.” Not even Botox? “No, no. Look I’m frowning. No. I don’t have anything in my face. But I would never rule it out.”
This would be a nice quote were it not for a few cosmetic surgeries that Elizabeth Hurley picked up along the way, including botox injections, likely skin peels, and maybe a….breast augmentation. A few years ago it was already speculated that she had some collagen injected into her lips. They sure look huge and unnatural.
Despite her comment that, “I’d be too scared to modify my face. Can you imagine if it was worse afterwards? Added to which, in
Collagen lip injections are temporary, lasting for up to 4-6 months after the procedure. Generally, touch-up treatments are needed two to three times yearly. Doctors can increase the size of the upper or lower lip, reducing the look of wrinkles as the patient ages. Unfortunately, some swelling and slight bruising may occur after the procedure, which is the biggest downside to having the injection done.
Hurley told Estee Lauder that she’d be afraid of having cosmetic surgery for fear that people would be able to identify it a mile off. She also said, “Although Marilyn Monroe was a size 16 and always looked fabulous I’d kill myself if I was that fat.” That leads to speculation if whether she had liposuction done or not. Possibly, she had breast augmentation. From an old photo, her breasts are not that filling into her dress. However, from a recent taken photo, they look like they are bursting out of there. And it definitely looks like she had botox done, whether she wants to admit it or not.
Botox is one of the most popular treatments among celebrities in the world. It is the best way to keep the wrinkles away. Botox is made from ‘botulinum toxin’, a poison produced by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum. The injection takes place 3-7 days after the procedure. Soreness or mild bruising may occur as a result.
Maybe Hurley’s latest surgery has helped in her recent organic farm project, maybe not. But nevertheless, she seems satisfied: “It’s the best thing I’ve ever done… it’s the only place I want to be. When we get our organic status we’re going to farm properly and we’re going to have a herd of cows and proper sheep and proper chickens, and we’re going to have small amounts of Gloucestershire Old Spot pigs. I’ve joined the breeders’ club already and I’m quite excited about it. I would like to go for some kind of organic food production and I plan to do it – maybe something Indian.”
And as for her great skin secret? Cold showers! No kidding, as she has great skin, which is great for her working with Estee Lauder.
Fathers everywhere also seem to enjoy her looks: “It was particularly tough, when I was pregnant, to be stalked. And I don’t like it at all when I’m with Damian and men follow and get much too close. That’s the only thing that upsets me.” Men would come get a closer look at her every morning when she dropped her son Damian off at school.
Either way, we like her just the way she is and wouldn’t dream of calling her fat.
