The big news in daytime television is that talk show host queen Oprah Winfrey has announced the end of her popular television and beginning her OWN station. To last so long, it seems that Oprah must be dabbling in some of the plastic surgery procedures she has introduced on her show.
55-year old year old Oprah Winfrey has been a daytime TV staple since the 1980s and other than several weight gains and losses looks much the same now as she did back then, indicating that plastic surgery must be at play.
Plastic surgeon Dr. Anthony Youn told Make Me Heal that Oprah may have had a rhinoplasty. “It does appear to me that her nose may have been thinned. If so, it is a nice job because it still retains her ethnicity, while at the same time refining her overall appearance.”
More recently, Oprah has likely had anti-aging procedures and injections like Botox and may use laser cellulite treatments like Velashape as made popular by Kim Kardashian.
Manhattan plastic surgeon Dr David Shafer says, “Oprah has been blessed with great skin. Her skin does appear smoother in some pictures than others, which could be from Botox Cosmetic or from Photoshop…”
With all the weight gaining and losing that Oprah does, she probably has plastic surgery treatments to help eliminate the loose skin.
OcBody plastic surgeon Dr John Di Saia says, “After her weight loss she likely had some body and facial surgery. Maybe even a lower body lift. She looks good.”
Dr. Paul S. Nassif, a facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon and a rhinoplasty specialist says, “
It is possible Oprah Winfrey had her bridge narrowed slightly. This may also be an illusion as different lighting may create different effects. And there is the possibility she has had a few fillers and some Botox. Overall, Oprah looks very natural. If there was a change, it is very subtle and the surgeon did an excellent job.”
As open as Oprah is about her life, she has yet to admit to having plastic surgery.
Oprah has repeatedly blasted rumors of her having plastic surgery, saying “According to this I’ve had a breast lift and liposuction and a chin implant. Why would I want that? It’s not true. But, hey, I must be looking pretty good.”
“I will be the first to tell you if I have plastic surgery.”
Oprah plans to leave her show in 2011 and Make Me Heal looks forward to seeing what she does in the meantime.
