Pamela Anderson may have the most famous breast implants in the world, but there’s one thing she won’t have plastic surgery on: her face.
43-year old Pamela Anderson is rumored to have had Botox and lip augmentation (Read Make Me Heal’s story on Pamela Anderson’s facial plastic surgery)., although she continually denies it, saying she prefers to be natural above the neck.
She said: “I haven’t done Botox. I don’t like all that facial stuff. It scares me. You see these people who have had it, and they all look the same.”
“I just don’t think I should go that way, especially at 43. I think I should just age. I’ve never been the prettiest person, and I don’t feel I need to chase youth.”
Dr. Paul S. Nassif, a Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon and Rhinoplasty Specialist in Beverly Hills, Calif., said, “Botox users may obtain similar results, but it is not accurate to state that all Botox users look alike. Every individual in different, and has unique facial features that may respond differently to Botox.”
Miami plastic surgeon Dr. Michael Salzhauer says, “Botox is not a surgical procedure that alters the shape or size of any physical features. It is used to reduce the appearance of facial wrinkles. Botox users can share in common their smooth foreheads, but I don’t think that makes them all look the same. Most surgical patients are very open to Botox and other nonsurgical rejuvenation treatments.”
Makemeheal.com does find Pamela’s stance on Botox unusual, considering that plastic surgery is responsible for her previous success, but to each their own.
