Every year Make Me Heal looks forward to seeing our favorite television stars as they parade their plastic surgery down the Emmy’s red carpet. Here’s a glimpse of the cosmetic surgeries stars have had to prepare for the television awards show last Sunday:
One of the bigger winners was Jessica Lange, for her work in the HBO movie Grey Gardens. 60-year old Jessica is no longer a favorite of the paparazzi, so her recent appearance in an emerald green gown showed off the plasticized look the actress has become known for in her later years. Although she denies going under the knife, many suspect Jessica has had a facelift, browlift and Botox as well as a possible blepharoplasty. (See Make Me Heal’s story on Jessica Lange’s plastic surgery).
22-year old Gossip Girl Blake Lively was a fashion favorite in her red Versace gown, Lorraine Schwartz jewels and Christian Louboutin heels. The down-to-there cut of the dress really accentuated the long-legged blonde’s possible and very likely breast augmentation, while her tightly pulled-back hair highlighted her nose job (See Make Me Heal’s story on Blake Lively’s plastic surgery).
Petite Kristin Chenoweth won Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for her work on the cancelled Pushing Daisies. After accepting her award, in a mini-dress by Zuhair Murad, the 41-year reportedly came down with a migraine. Botox has been found to be helpful for some migraine sufferers and given Kristin’s perfectly smooth forehead and area between the eyebrows, Make Me Heal would take the Broadway star for a user. In addition to Botox, Kristin is also rumored to have gotten dental veneers, breast implants, and may also use fillers or fat grafting to plump up her cheeks.
Toni Collette was the surprise winner for her category, Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series for her work on the quirky show “United States of Tara.” It’s unlikely that 36-year old Toni has had much work done as she plays a variety of roles, not all of them attractive. But she may have had chemical peels or laser treatments to help smooth her skin in advance of the red carpet. However, many of the women in her category including Christina Applegate, Julia Louis-Dreyfus and Mary-Louise Parker are Make Me Heal alum.
37-year old Christina Applegate recently battled breast cancer and may have had breast reconstruction surgery to fill out the midnight blue couture Basil Soda gown she sported. (Read Make Me Heal’s story on Christina Applegate’s reconstructive surgery).
Julia Louis-Dreyfus looked much younger than her 48 years in her blue Vera Wang gown, thanks to some Botox injections and a possible rhinoplasty. (Read Make Me Heal’s story on Julia Louis-Dreyfus’ plastic surgery).
Mary-Louise Parker showed off her legs and her plastic surgery in a one-shouldered purple charmeuse Zac Posen mini. The 45-year old star of Weeds is rumored to have undergone numerous facial plastic surgery procedures including: Botox injections, mini necklift, rhinoplasty, lip augmentation and dermal fillers. (Read Make Me Heal’s story on Mary-Louise Parker’s plastic surgery).
On the red carpet, Make Me Heal also spotted Debra Messing, who had at least one rhinoplasty before becoming a household name on the television show Will and Grace. Sporting a one-shouldered red Michael Kors gown, the 41-year old and her new nose is now the star of The Starter Wife.
